After searching threads at M-Audio I have learned that the 1 Gen Fast Tracks do not have any guitar output gain control, I have an old fostex 4 track that seems to serve nicely for gain control through the 1/4 inch auxiliary send.... I do not seem to have any control of input level from the unit itself, the manual states that the peak and signal lights are for the mic in.... I will re-install the drivers.

I recently purchased mixcraft and I have a M-Audio fastrack. This software is wonderful!!! The problem I am having is the wave form in my guitar track is almost like a straight line, input level seems fine and playback is fine, I am at a loss for what is causing this. Any ideas? I am not a very good...
