Not sure if anyone has brought this up yet but, any chance a Mix down to Stem upgrade for Mixcraft 6 and 7 could be done....or have they already and I missed it?

I have the iPad app and have used it before with Mixcraft 6. Wanting to use it in Mixcraft 7 but when I go to "Preferences", "Interface", there is no box to select "Enable Remote App"

Never mind. I just closed 8, opened 7, and armed multiple tracks and saved it in 8. Then opened it in 8 and it works fine. And...I'm using Asio with my Tascam DM 4800.

Just started playing around with 8 and I can only arm 2 tracks at the same time. If I arm another track, it unarms one of the previously armed tracks. Any ideas?

I started out with Mixcraft 6, then updated to Mixcraft 7, and now updating to Mixcraft 8. Is there any reason to keep 6 and 7 on my computer now? I kept 6 on there but 7 opens all the projects from 6 so....

Not that I know of. Haven't added any on purpose. Started with a virgin computer with Win 7. Added the Tascam DM 4800 software and the Mixcraft. Added Sound Forge which has plugins, but deleted it. Tried a demo version of Sonor, but didn't like it and deleted it.

Just hooked up a keyboard to my computer via MIDI USB. Played around with it, both with MIDI track and direct from keyboard output to the mixer. And, maybe a "record automation" button for each track (that would, of course, cancel the same function on any other tracks) that would allow you to adjust volume, pan, effects and such on the fly, instead of having to insert those points on the track.

Sure would be nice if each track had an output option in a dropbox like the input option, instead of having to insert output tracks and assigning them and then assigning the audio tracks to each output track. Is there some other use for output tracks that I'm not seeing? I only learn about things as...
