Re: Custom scales for piano roll?
I'm talking about the scale maps selected in the dropdown menu on the piano roll (the same one where drum maps can be chosen.) There are a handful of scales already there, like Dorian and Mixolydian, but it'd be nice to have support for custom ones as well. Say for example I wanted to compose someth...

Re: Half midi tempo without changing track temp
I do the same thing every once in a while, and here's the solution I always use: change the clip from "Use Project Tempo" to "Time Stretch," set it to 200%, then right click on the clip and click "Mix To New Clip." Once you've done that you can switch it back to use pro...

Custom scales for piano roll?
Is there a way to create/import custom scale maps for instrument clips like you can do with drum maps? I've been digging around in the ProgramData folder looking for a place they'd go but can't find anything. If not, is this a planned feature for future versions? I think it'd be a pretty useful tool.

Strange scrolling behavior on midi tracks
This is actually a problem I've been running into with Mixcraft for a long time now, (possibly as far back as version 5 or 6, hard to remember for sure) but always just assumed it was a well-known issue and would get fixed eventually. Whenever I press the home key to go back to the beginning of an i...

Re: Issues with certain plugins after latest update?
After switching to the ASIO driver I'm able to use all plugins normally, but I'm still curious what the problem was in the first place, and I'm treating this more like a workaround than a solution. I'd like to be able to use Core Audio again so I can use my regular playback device settings; I someti...

Re: Issues with certain plugins after latest update?
I'm using the 64-bit version with the Core Audio (Wave RT) driver, set to 44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo. Force Single CPU unchecked, High Priority Threads checked. Audio interface is the Scarlett 2i2, and I'm on Windows 7 with 16 GB RAM. Same settings I've always used in Mixcraft 7 and performance has ne...

Issues with certain plugins after latest update?
After installing the most recent update, Mixcraft has been freezing when I load some virtual instruments, like DSK SF2 and Messiah. There may be others as I haven't exhaustively tested all my plugins, but these are two that I used frequently before updating to 7.5. However, I noticed that I can load...

Re: Unable to update MC7 through help menu
Got it; I didn't even realize I could close Mixcraft while the update was running so doing that didn't occur to me. Thanks for the help!

Unable to update MC7 through help menu
I'm running Build 237, although I see there's an update to 251 available. When I try running the Check for Update option, it downloads the update exe but then gives me a message saying "Mixcraft 7 is running! - Please save your work and quit Mixcraft 7. Then click 'Retry' to install the update ...

Re: Automating multiple parameters with the same controller
Actually, I just discovered manually selecting the CC Number allows you to map multiple effects. I guess it only replaces the existing ones when you use MIDI Learn.

Automating multiple parameters with the same controller
Is there any way to map a MIDI controller to more than one effect parameter? For example, say I want to use a pedal to control both bit depth and downsampling with a bitcrusher VST. When I try to add a second one it just replaces the first. If this can't be done, does anyone know if it's a planned f...
