Re: Petty Peve About DAWs Interface
This focus of the keyboard irritant is how the Windows operating system is setup unfortunately. This is not a Mixcraft issue. When you give control of the keyboard (focus) to a 3rd party object, there is nothing the original window can do about it. I've programmed the Window's GUI for years and that...

Re: I don't want to say goodbye to Mixcraft
I had a glitching problem also. I solved my problem by installing a USB card and used it for my interface input. This is probably not your problem since you get other DAWs to work but sometimes hardware is the issue.
Re: Melodyne
I did go ahead and take advantage of the Celemony upgrade sale and upgraded to the Assistant version of Melodyne for $49 USD. This makes Melodyne truly usable for mono tracks only. Mixcraft took the upgrade and all appears to be working. I did have to fiddle with the installer a while. I installed i...
Re: Melodyne
Thanks all.
Melodyne
I have Mixcraft 9 pro and Melodyne Assistant comes with it but I have not activated it yet. Celemony has a sale on right now for upgrades and I am eyeing the Editor edition due to it being polyphonic. Will the version of Melodyne that come with Mixcraft qualify me for upgrades? Thanks.

Voltage modular Iginte
I installed Mixcraft 9 Pro but can not find the Voltage Modular Ignite in my list of instruments. On my products page I see the registration key but can't find the installer (if there was suppose to be one). Thanks

Re: A Mixcraft Testimonial
I use both Mixcraft and Reaper. Reaper has incredible power and flexibility but to be honest I have never gotten into the flow of it. Mixcraft is comfortable and fits my humble needs. I believe Mixcraft has the flexible and power to make most any project top notch if you have audio engineering talen...

Re: Vocal to MIDI?
I think Band in a Box Audio Wizard can do this. I have used it before on signal note audio (guitar) to midi. Results are mixed. Also, I believe upgraded verisons of Melodyne convert audio to midi but will cost more.

Re: Audio dropout fixed
Startech PEXUSB7LP 7 port usb 2.0. I found one used on ebay for $8.00 which included shipping. My win 7 machine recognized it without the need of propritary driver installation.

Audio dropout fixed
Just a FYI for people who may have a similiar problem. I had been troubled with intermittent audio dropout for sometime on my ThinkCentre i7 desktop using a Focusrite audio interface with the ASIO drivers plugged into the the motherboard 2.0 USB slot. I could not fix the problem completely with buff...

Re: Best Antivirus ?
I've used Sandboxie with Windows Defender with good luck. Very minimalistic. 2 cases in the last couple of years that a virus or malware tried to get into my computer via a web page and was stopped by Sandboxie.

Re: Guitar Rig 5 Odd behavior in MX8/WIN 10
I could never get Guitar Rig 5 to work in Mixcraft 7. After being frustrated, I deleted from my machine. Amplitube works great.
