I experience this as well. Sometimes it does stutter a bit too. Because of this, and the lack of MIDI beat/clock send, I have returned to another DAW (which does not have these problems) .
Hope these issues are addressed in updates.

Re: Mixcraft 8
Love Mixcraft! But... What is killing me is the inability of Mixcraft to send midi time/beatcode. It is a feature that is expected in a professional DAW. Please release me completely from Studio One by adding it. I use Mixcraft a lot, have to switch to Stodio One from time to time because of the lac...

Re: a sad loss
Sad indeed. I never used their synths, but use Camelphat and Camelspace and find them to be the most versatile plug-ins I have. I sometimes demo plug-ins and think their pretty good, then I always think, "but heck, I can do that already in Camelspace/Camelphat" So they have saved me a lot ...

Re: USB Audio Interface. Recommendations?
Just wanting to just in and say I had the Akai EIE Pro. Do not buy it. It is a constant pain. I suffered with it for a year and finally gave up. The drivers are all screwed up, and Akai as typical of them, did not fix it.

Re: PC question
Congrats! Hope it works out great, and I bet it will.
I strongly recommend a SSD. The new ones will out last the useful like of the computer, and will make everything snappy.

Re: Importing Sound Files to Library and Arranging Them
I am a new user of Mixcraft, and I agree that the browser is just about worthless. But, over the past 13 years I have tried just about every DAW there is, and owned many of them. I have a license for FL Studio, Cubase 4, Reaper 3, Sonar X3 Studio, and Studio 1.2 . Every one of them have a much bette...

Re: Mixcraft 7 control surface Midi learn issue
I have a Launch Key Mini, and finally got it to work by setting as Macie, and then doing midi learn for everything. It's not perfect, but it does work.
Edit: Joe and Dan, thanks for the tip! I just tried that, and that method frees up some faders on my rather limited Launchkey mini.... Thanks!
