Code not working for 2nd computer
Hi. I've been running Mixcraft 9 Pro on two computers in my home. I replaced computer #2 and attempted to download Mixcraft 9 Pro using my registration ID and registration code as instructed. Instead of the download starting or getting a "next," the only option given is to use a retrieval ...

Mixraft 9 won't see Fender USB amp
Hi, I'm trying to record from a new Fender Mustang lt25 via the USB, but Mixcraft 9 doesn't seem to recognize it. When I plug it to my computer it makes that "ding" sound confirming it knows I plugged in something. I can see it in my devices menu too (Windows 10). I'm using ASIO with a Pre...

Latency Question
Hi, I'm wondering if my settings here are okay. I just upgraded to Mixcraft 9 Pro and while I was setting it up I noticed the latency number field. I don't know much about latency other than what it is generally. Is this number high and if yes, is there anything I should do to get it lower? I use a ...
Stems
Hey Gang, when I'm mixing a song down to stems, is there an easy way to get the name of the track (kick, guitar, tom 1) into the name of the stem to make it less confusing to the person on the other end?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Mixer recomendations
Thank you, Eric, that makes sense! One more question for you, if you don't mind. Can you think of any reason that I shouldn't replace the Focusrite 18i20 and Octopre (total of 16 XLR inputs I use) with the Behringer X Air X18 rig? It looks like it'll put my band practice mixing and my DAW mixing in ...

Re: Mixer recomendations
Oh sorry Eric, I read your post wrong. Just so I'm clear, you're saying that you use the board as your only interface. Do you run a separate monitor mix then just out of your board?

Re: Mixer recomendations
Okay, cool. That's what I'm looking at too because we practice in my studio. If I got something like a Behringer X AIR X18 Digital Desktop Mixer, would I have to buy splitters so I could fill the 16 channels on my Focusrite gear AND the new board? Or is there a trick to only have to plug each mic in...

Mixer recomendations
I currently have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and OctoPre hooked up to Mixcraft, giving me 16 channels of XLR inputs I can actually plug mics into. Works fine and I have a couple different monitor mixes routed to "Scarlett Mix Control" software that came with the Focusrite stuff. Is there an...

Switch to 64 bit?
I bought Mixcraft 6 new and have upgraded to 7 then to 8pro. All along I've used the 32 bit version. Is there a reason I should use the 64 bit version instead? And if I do, can I still pull up all the Mixcraft files of songs I created using the 32 bit version?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Ride A Vocal Track?
I'm just looking into saving some time. I'd rather NOT use Wave Vocal Rider. What I really want to do is run the slider like an engineer did on The Brady Bunch when Davy Jones was in the studio, except it would be on the Mixcraft desk and it would be saved exactly like I operated it, instead of havi...
