Re: MC 8 - MIDI recording bug
Hi, It isn't designed to record to an existing MIDI clip in the performance panel. That would be a new feature, not a bug. You can certainly browse to MIDI clips and load them with the file browser. Have you tried it? What you cannot do is preview the MIDI clip and this is because MIDI doesn't cont...

Re: MC 8 - MIDI recording bug
To 1.
What you show is recording a new clip.
What I wrote is recording in an existing MIDI-Clip in the performance pane. And this is not possible.
To 3.
This is the browser for audio files not MIDI-Clips (or -files).
I did NOT got it work with MIDI.

MC 8 - MIDI recording bug
Hi, I wanted to upgrade from MC7 to 8 and tested before MC 8 Demo regarding MIDI performance. Some problems ocured: 1. It's not possible to record in an existing clip in the performance panel. I tried with arming the slot and / or track and press main record button and got the message that I have to...

Hi,
where is the possibility to save and load MIDI clips in a fast and easy way in this update, for example in a sound tab.
Without this feature it's not possible to work with MIDI in a usefull way between different projects.

I also request this feature. As described, it's a very important recording and workflow feature.

Re: Minimized Tracks
Sorry, but this does not work in MC7. I can't drag the top clip down with shift holded, maybe you mean MC6. So I still insist on my feature request. It does work in Mixcraft 7. You're dragging the bottom of the track down and it's re-sizing? The change to the other tracks doesn't take place until y...

Solo, Mute, Record buttons for lanes (takes)
I you insert or open lanes(takes) it would be usefull to to have the ability to switch several takes to mute or record especially with multitimbral VSTis to record several sub-MIDI channels at once.
Therefore Solo, Mute and Record Buttons on subtracks would be necessary.

Re: Saving, loading and previewing of MIDI-Clips
Hi, Thanks for the suggestions! We've talked about including MIDI in the library in the past. This may show up in some future update or version of Mixcraft. Greg :) Thanks ! In my view this an important feature, of course for all users and it improves the workflow and possibilities drastically when...

Re: Saving, loading and previewing of MIDI-Clips
Is there any fix or update on the road regarding this feature ? I emphasis this because in my view it's more important than this sample-loops in the sound library which even have to be downloaded, but I will never do this because I have everything. I don't think that people who uses MC7 only use sam...

Thanks !
I am not at home at the moment, so I will try it later.
Beside this, exists there anywhere a list of secret or hidden tricks of MC7 ?
