Re: Input Device Not Recognized
Are you arming to record audio from the focusrite 2i2? If this is the case, you should arm an audio track. In the screen shot you are arming a virtual instrument track.

Re: Mixcraft crashes with Line6 Native (guitar plugin)
I too have been having some issues with Helix Native crashing Mixcraft. Native is the first VST3 that I've used and am thinking about uninstalling it and reinstalling the VST2 version. See if that helps. I wasn't sure if any other Mixcraft Users are having similar issues to what I've been experienci...
Tap Tempo
Is there a way to assign the "Tap Tempo" to something external using "midi learn". I know that going into the "edit marker" screen there is a tap tempo feature, that one can use the mouse to tap in a tempo, but this button does appear be Midi Learn capable. The ability ...

Re: Redwirez MixIR Plugin Issue
Doug6String, I recently bought a Line 6 Helix and since the Helix natively supports 48khz IR's, I've been using 48khz IR's in Mixcraft. I was running Mixcraft with a sample rate of 44.1khz, and when using 48khz IR's with MixIR2, they had a distorted/static sound to them. When I changed the sample ra...

Re: Redwirez MixIR Plugin Issue
Greg,
It wasn't a clipping sound, more of just static.
But.....I corrected it by playing around with the sample rate and buffer size in the ASIO settings. Now the IR's are sounding the way they should be.....

Redwirez MixIR Plugin Issue
Anybody have any experience using the MixIR Impulse Response Loader Plugin from Redwirez? I bought their "big box" package of IR's and it came with MixIR, an IR loader that looks like it has some great features, especially being able to stack multiple IR's. But using it in Mixcraft 8, the ...

Re: Mixcraft for Live Performance
I was really hoping someone would have suggestions on how to change virtual instruments by assigning them to a button or pad on a Midi Controller.
Are there better programs out there than Mixcraft to accomplish this during a live performance?

Re: Mixcraft for Live Performance
What I meant by latency is I changed the latency in the "Sound Device Preferences" so there wasn't a lag between a key hit and sound. The default latency was set at 20 milliseconds and there was a noticeable lag so I changed it to 3 milliseconds. Would using the ASIO driver of a USB interf...

Mixcraft for Live Performance
I'm new to Mixcraft and fairly new to the DAW world, but am really enjoying how easy it has been to figure our how to do "simple" things that I couldn't figure out how to do in other software! I'm thinking of using Mixcraft and the included Virtual Instruments with a midi keyboard during a...
