It's the USB mixer
I THINK this is a clarification... ASIO isn't really relevant because the headphone's built in USB mixer over-rides any other mixer, which still appear in the dropdowns in M5 and the properties panel of the computer's volume control, but they won't do anything. The mixer that goes with the headphone...

Can't get audio to mixer when using Gigaware USB phones/mic
[edit: to clarify that I DO have mic input showing a level in the mixer but nothing from any audio stream internal to the computer (mp3s, internet stream, etc)] I've tried every possible audio source available. C-Media (the headset's supplied mixer... mic input only in recording mixer , wave/vol etc...

Still using Build 77
MixCraft 4.1 released version: I've sent a bug report to betazoid but I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing the inability to change the channel arming function to 'stereo' or right channel from what seems to be the default I'm stuck with left channel. If I try to change, it doesn't respond...

Re: re
That strikes me as odd because drag to disk was always what gave me the problems. It seems to always have the burner locked. But maybe they fixed that since i last tried it. Actually, I tried installing the new version of Roxio's CD creator and it refused to recognize my cd drive, even after rummag...

Hi, If you don't have a Line In input on your laptop (most of them don't seem to have them these days), you should go for the USB interface. The microphone input is only good if you are plugging a microphone directly into it. Greg ...and the mic jack is mono as well. Can't even get a two channel mi...

Um, did you try burning them with Mixcraft 3? It makes standard audio CDs (the kind with .cda files). No doubt! It's one of the thing I immediately checked out in Mixcraft 3 because the CD burning function never worked quite right with Mixcraft 2... Dunno why. I think Roxio interfered with it. It w...

No difference. I just tried creating a new mp3 file and the result is the same. A file IS created intact and I get the 'failed to mixdown' message. Standard wav file, no effects... just a simple recording of 33 seconds of streamed audio. I just uninstalled, cleaned the registry and re-installed. Sa...
