Thanks Juno but I just got it....buffer length for the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 was shortened to 1ms instead of 10ms.....

I haven't used Mixcraft 6 since Sunday the 4th....worked great then, just like it has since I installed it. I went to use it last night and something is wrong....I'm getting a lot of a static sound coming through the monitors on playback. And it is worse the more tracks there are to the point of not...

I don't know how to find out about Direct monitoring on Focusrite.... Well, this is something you should really know: it's your equipment :wink: . HI, Are you using Mixcraft 7? This is a new feature of Mixcraft 7 and it appears in the Piano Roll. Look at the image I posted and click on "Step" to the right of "Piano." If you're using an older version of Mixcraft, ignore my suggestion (unless you want to upgrade to Mixcraft ...

I'm tried using 0:0 studio drum kit just like in the video.......but I did try all of them in drop down menu and the same thing...nothing...if you see in my screen capture in the above post you can see which preset was selected...

Thank you Mark for that and sorry for the late response. In the post a couple posts above mine by Greg he has a link for Chris's (Mixcraft Mini - Tip on Acoustica Studio Drums) On that video he is adding cymbals and maybe toms and I don't have any of that...how come I can't do that?
