When I first got mixcraft 7 I was running a 32 bit win7 system, now I have a 64 bit system... If i were to uninstall MC7 (leaving all VST's and project files etc intact), and get the 64 bit version, would I encounter any problems?? would MC still be able to open project made on the 32 bit program? w...

crashing as in just greying out and not responding... or sometimes it will also bring up a dialog box saying 'an exception was encountered in .... your software may not work properly now.' Whenever there is any audio clip in a project of mine, playing it will cause mixcraft to crash. Has happened with or without any track fx. Even if i open a blank project and load an auio clip into it, either from the mc library or my computer, playing it will cause mixcraft to crash. Anyone know how...

FOUND IT! It somehow got moved to a folder in my roaming appdata?!?! I got a free app which said it can search deeper than win explorer can and it found them. I gave glary utilities a try, it couldn't find it. All it found was things I cleared from my recycle bin. It seems like there's no freebie software out there that can find it. Thanks anyway John

No, I didn't copy the project files to any folder... I just let mixcraft's automatics do the work in this instance. I've tried several deep scans of my pc with various apps to see if it can be recovered but with no success... which makes me think perhaps it got shifted somewhere deeper than windows ...

I do understand how Mixcraft's default filing system works, I didn't see anything wrong with it so that is what I used. And if a project got corrupted... i would always go back to the folder to find numerous backups. But, this is the first time an entire folder has disappeared... i'm just deep-scann...

I honestly don't know what else could have done it... i haven't been running any file cleaners etc... i'm working on finding some freeware that might be able to restore the folder.
