Re: re

You mean in the sequence window? I personally never used more than one, but I am a pure rock and roll guy. I could see someone using it in a techno or hip hop genre like: sequence 1 = Hip hop beat sequence 2 = Added sounds that are perfectly in time sequence 3 = maybe some sounds on 16th 0r 32nd no...

Tracks in Beatcraft

Hello all. I notice that Beatcraft has multiple tracks that can be used. Can someone give me an ideal situation as when to use the other tracks? I mean, the user created patterns can be linked together to play using just one track without the need for the other tracks. Perhaps I'm missing a valuble ...

Re: re

Just click the overdub check box to hear your previously recorded tracks as you record a new one. In order to hear your currently recording track, you need to open windows miser, go to properties and make sure that your input source is also selected here (check box), then you need to make sure it i...

I am trying to find a way to use it "live" to monitor while recording . . . Hope you find something that works for you. Juste a note - All VST plug-ins for Mixcraft are applied post/after recording. You will never be able to hear any effect that Mixcraft uses on the recorded channel live ...

Re: re

You can use any sound within beatcraft, it doesn't matter if it is not percussin. As long as the sounds are in a compatibkle format such as wav, mp3, ogg, wma. There are a lot of plug-ins that will make these sounds for you, and then you could record each sound with Mixcraft for use in Beatcraft. H...

Input monitoring

Hello all. I am trying to figure out how to monitor my recording while in recording mode. I can only hear the playback. It was suggested from another thread to check all my Window's volumes and be sure that there are no mutes checked. I checked those and there are none checked however I still cannot...

Re: re

Residential Beatcraft Guru here :-) Generally, if a plug-in says it can run as a stand alone app, it is a VST instrument and is not supported by Mixcraft/Beatcraft. Are you referring to COLOSSUS? Heya Guru man:) Actually I was looking at Nostalgia or Virtual Vapor Synth. I seen Colossus but is waaa...

Thanks guys. I have used Behringer's V-amp Pro (rack mountable version) in the past with good results. I am just trying to go all software based and see what I could come up with. I used a Line 6 Pod live before and they are great. I was also thinking of trying their Guitar Port as it is aimed for c...

additional instruments to use

Hello all. I am looking to find other instrument sounds to use with either Beatcraft or Mixcraft. I only need bass guitar and maybe a couple synth pads. Anyone know of anything that is compatible with the Acoustica gear? Thanks.

Yes, guitar amps. I'm using a Tele for the guitar. I ran cross Amplitube but don't know much about it.

I'll try to help here, but Greg or Eric may be along shortly. Plug-ins are what you use to add effects to your recorded tracks. Reverb, delay, compressor, EQ would all be plug-ins. Mixcraft supports VST type plug-ins. It does NOT support VST instruments. I saw your previous post about industrial ty...

Plug-in??

Just so I understand correctly (and being new to computer recording), what exactly is a plug-in software? How does it work with a supportive software host? Can plug-ins be used with any software? Thanks.

You also have a +20db option in the mic mixer that you may or may not want to use.
Thanks for the info.
