Sometimes less is more, I think the current GUI is pretty good. But yeah sure I guess some sleeker alternate themes could be cool.mfkne wrote:Compare to the others... Looks a bit outdated... A more modern approach - or various themes - would be great.elaw wrote:What's wrong with the current GUI?

Re: Free Neutrino
It's definitely just a really subtle effect even when maxing the knobs, so it's working but unless you have a really good monitoring system you're not really going to pick up too much of a difference.

Re: *** Plugins Poll ***
Agreed, have long been looking for a better alternative. TX16wx seems decent but there are some quality of life things that omni actually has over TX. A happy medium between these two would be fantastic for MCshorty wrote:And the Sampler needs an upgrade. TX16wx is free.

Re: Multiband Sidechain Compression
That's good to hear that they're finally adding that. is there an ETA on when v8 is coming out? (and also upgrade cost from 7?)
EDIT: do you happen to remember where you read that? I'm curious as to what other functions they are adding to the DAW in 8

Does anyone know of an effective way to do this in Mixcraft? I mean, sure I can duplicate a track and break it up into highs and lows using eq and then just apply side chain compression (using side kick 6) to one of the tracks but that's probably the least efficient work around possible. I have Fabf...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Would be nice to make it so that when an audio clip completely eclipses another one it still has that crosshatch pattern letting you know that multiple audio clips are stacked. Noticed this when I realized I had 2 identical clips stacked and it didn't create any weird phase issues when in the mix so...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
1. Option to toggle inverted colors on selected audio and MIDI clips 2. Ability to control pan information for each note in the piano roll 3. similarly Pitch info (+-12 semitones) the pitch-wheel doesn't really cut it. Sure most uses of this could be accomplished in omnisampler probably but, still, ...

Re: Update to build 303!
I also am really not a big fan of the inverted colors for selected MIDI and audio clips. If it is at all possible I hope we are given a toggle function in the next update that is rolled out. I know it's really a superficial problem but it's really jarring to me now, and it makes editing audio clips ...
