Re: I am so proud of Mixcraft!
I am so proud of Mixcraft! What do I mean by that? Well, I've been a big user since v5. Sometimes posted here, but not much. But also really struggled with everything I had to learn, more so in terms of the techniques that underpin the technology, particularly in that "dark art" we call M...

Re: Free superb drum vst from Sennheiser!
Thanks Marcus,
Don't worry about delays, it's not like I'm paying you to be my personal help desk or anything (will need a couple of big hits first) I really appreciate your input!
I think I've got the hang of it now.

Re: What are all the different avenues people go down to make some money with their music?
Here's my $.02 It's not that hard to make a decent side income from music. Just get with some buddies and start a band. There will always be venues to play, and if the drive there isn't too long and you make $100 a piece for a night, there you go. The problem is trying to make a good living from it....

Re: Free superb drum vst from Sennheiser!
OK, got it to work, as far as loading and playing sounds...
I have yet to try it with a digital kit, but I'm sure that will work as well.
One thing though, is is possible to output to individual tracks in Mixcraft? If so... how?

Re: New song...
That was cool! Funky and groovy, with a bit of 70's "dirt". Awesome.
I also thought I heard some influences of 80's synth pop in the harmonies and chord progressions at a couple of places.
Again, cool.
Oh, and great mix/production.

Thanks guys!
M@rcus, it's a bit of both actually (pedal steel on the left, lap steel on the right).

New song: Nothing but You
This is the first (and only so far) song that I have produced in MC. Actually the first song I ever produced in a desktop DAW. https://soundcloud.com/andreas-carlsson-8/nothing-but-you Music, lyrics, acoustic guitars, keys and lead vocals by me, the rest of the instruments by band mates, and backing...

Re: Free superb drum vst from Sennheiser!
May I ask how you got it to work?
I installed it yesterday, and I can't get it to show up as a VST.

Re: EZ Drummer (Lite)
Again, thanks a lot.
Sorry for asking before trying out Google... which I just did. Turns out rack toms and crash cymbals are not included in the Lite version...
Now, where's my wallet...

Re: EZ Drummer (Lite)
Thanks.
Now, what do I do with it?
Save it with the same formatting as the other ones? And then, how do I apply it?
Sorry for all the newbie questions...

EZ Drummer (Lite)
Hi, I have a midi drum file in my project, where I use EZD Lite as VSTi. So far, so good, the beat is played in EZD. But, all the notes are not played correctly, for example all the toms play the floor tom in EZD, all the symbals play the ride etc. Kick, snare and hh are ok. Is there a way to change...

Performance questions
Hi, New guy here, just registered MC7 a couple of days ago after using the trial. I'm probably going to be posting a lot of questions here the next couple of weeks as I'm working on a project with a deadline, in a new (to me) DAW... Used to do some recording in iOS before, but now moved to PC. I'm u...
