Re: Mixcraft upgrades (was Mixcraft Suggestions)
I'd just like to tip my hat to andrew7a. Wow! Thanks! I was starting to feel isolated! I'm pretty sure FL does the whole ghosted notes and, importantly, they have the option to turn them on or off. This, user customisation, is something that I have picked Mixcraft up on quite a bit unfortunately :(...

Re: Mixcraft upgrades (was Mixcraft Suggestions)
Sure you can. Go to one of your previous posts... In the upper right of the window, there's a row of icons, the first one looks like a pencil. Click that, and your post comes up in edit mode. Now you can freely edit the test, and when you're done, click "submit". The pencil will be there ...

Re: Mixcraft upgrades (was Mixcraft Suggestions)
Mark, I agree with everything you have said in your previous posts (although I don't get the shoe picture!). I just want to further clarify what I was getting at and then put this one to bed. When I talk about bringing a program up to the same standard as current competition I should have been more ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
To put this in perspective, I was just on another forum and Bitwig announced that Version 2 is in beta and they have came out with a new license model. From my understanding it is $269 for version 2 for upgrading, but that includes a free year of updates and then you have to pay $159 a year after t...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Just trying to clarify what some find confusing here. There always seems to be some kind of misunderstanding between "update", "upgrade" and the various terms of a new versions release. I don't know if that was directed at me! My point was (not aimed at Mixcraft but in general) ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
If you mean me, I said no such thing. Yeah sorry about that Mark I was referring to Rolling Estonian comments. I only noticed after I had posted and you can't seem to edit your posts after the fact. Its a generous offer that helps insure people don't buy only to find out an upgrade is available sho...

RobertAllan wrote: I already have Mixcraft 7, baught quite a while back, do i also get a free upgrade? Or just the people who purchase now? It had better bloody well be free! If they're offering a free upgrade from 7 Pro to 8 Pro now then it had better apply to those who previously owned 7 Pro othe...

Mixcraft upgrades (was Mixcraft Suggestions)
I'd like folder tracks to be added that have no functionality except for organization. OMG. I can't believe i missed this (considering the length of my suggestion list i thought i'd picked up on everything!). Yes. Folder Tracks. Absolutely. P.S. Has anyone else noticed that 'Add Track' and 'Insert ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Have midi transposition option in track box e.g. to automatically transpose all incoming notes by 2 octaves whilst another track could transpose by a couple of steps, for example (It's been a while but I seem to remember Samplitude having this feature?) OK. I'm an idiot. I forgot you CAN do this in...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I thought this was going to be the eleventh hour but if Mixcraft 8 is still a year away I'll keep on going! Issues Making a selection in the timeline and cropping will crop everything even if the track you want is soloed and the Clip selected. Requests Search box in VST automation parameters. Wide b...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I would also like to see better automation display e.g. multiple automation lanes ala Samplitude with expand/collapse option or preferably have a single automation display but have each type of automation curve and point given its own colour so you can quickly see all the automation applied to that ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
OK. I thought I'd covered everything with my previous posts but I've been working a lot recently with midi loops and have a few more suggestions. 1. When dragging and dropping in midi files using Windows Explorer have a pop-up window option showing the detected tempo and an option to change the proj...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Okay, a few more requests and then I think I'm done! It would be nice if you actually type in values e.g. for velocity/default velocity, etc i.e. right-click as you can with fader/pan. A box at bottom of channel strip showing actual db level. Option to have the project automatically change tempo/key...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
At this rate, Mixcraft will be in danger of losing its user-friendliness by becoming overcomplicated. I actually disagree. I don't believe having multiple ways of doing the same thing is a bad idea (after all we're all going to work in a different way). Also a lot of what I have suggested are ways ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Yep. You're absolutely right. I'd forgotten about that.Right clicking the FX button opens the plug in gui, which is very handy, but if you have multiple effects chained, it opens them all and you often have to sort through them to find the one you want to work with.
