Can't Upgrade Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio

I have a registered copy of Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio.

But when I try to upgrade it to the current version I keep getting told that I have the wrong registration.

Re: How many albums to really know what you are doing?

Well, put it this way, I've done about 100 albums and I'm still learning. I couldn't do an album in two weeks. It would take that long just to get the drums and bass recorded. On a full-scale commercial production each song takes approximately 50 hours from start to finish, including mastering. Wel...

No actually. The 10'000 hours rule has been debunked numerous times.

How many albums to really know what you are doing?

Before I made any music albums I thought that I would need 3 albums to know what I am doing. Now after 2 albums under my belt I feel prescient; I feel that I need one more album to get there. My first album of 45 minutes took 6 months. It wasn't good. My second album of 40 minutes was much better. I...

Would you record music in a 1950's studio?

A few months ago I came across a video by Sound on Sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q-scxybnp0 In it they have re created a 1950's style music studio using all 1950's equipment and methods! So I wondered whether anyone hear would use such a studio to make music. It took them years to set it a...

Re: I can't give away my music for free

Sigh. The Free Music Archive is within its rights 100% to preserve its bandwidth and to choose its music. BUT It does the opposite to what it did to me in its video; I watched all 45 minutes of its video for applicants and nowhere does it says that it acts as it did. In fact it presents itself as so...

I can't give away my music for free

About a month ago I had the worst experience of my musical life: I was rejected by The Free Music Archive. I submitted a professional application. Their response was unprofessional and nonsensical. They said that they were not looking for electronic or instrumental music. ????????????? Um. Yeah. Tha...

Music and imagination ?

I remember the music that I hear for a long time. I remember it 100% as it is to a studio quality, including audience clapping or other interruptions. Here I need to explain further. I suck at remembering the lyrics. Why? Because when I absorb music I turn it intuitively into the harmony/sound etc a...

A waste of time or good aural development?

I cannot sing. Or, to be more accurate in 41 times around the sun I have never sung. But the thing is: I have never had anyone play piano notes and get me to match the notes in a vocalisation of my choosing [ singing/humming, chant whatever] . So would such an aural exercise with a teacher be a wast...

Re: Why all the Plugins?

Hey! What does that leave me? I must be the ultimate plug in nut :)

I have Mixcraft Pro added to a lot of free plug ins, Reaper - tons of plug ins, and FL Studio.

If my plug ins were an army they would defeat the USA
