Help making a loop

My Son is interested in making some "beats" using Mixcraft using the various samples from Library. So tonight I showed him how to pick from the Genre list, then pick a drum beat, stretch it across the timeline to about 1 minute. Then add bass, guitar, and fills. I am probably doing it wron...

Rock/jazz version of "The thrill is gone"

2012 - My wife and I with drummer friend Adam recorded this back in 2012. My wife sang, Adam played drums and I added guitar/keys/bass.

Re: A light jazz tune

Well, you must have been a bit preoccupied on that vacation... I appreciate the effort it must have taken to work around the odd meter moments in the existing drum track. I can personally appreciate how hard that can be to pull off. Tasty result. Very nice. It was a little tricky, plus it was...

Re: My new EP/ Short Album- Celtic Folk Jazz

This is the type of music I have been looking for! I love Celtic music and the sprinkling of a jazzy feel makes this wonderful. Production is incredibly good, and musicianship TOP!!!!! Do you have MORE????? I have always wanted to learn how to play a dulcimer. LOVED your work!!!! :D

A light jazz tune

I recorded this late one night while vacationing up in New Hampshire in 2018. I smuggled a small computer and midi keyboard along with me. Used Mixcraft to record this which was just improvised in the natural minor scale. The drum track was something I found on another PC. The timing is odd in spots...

New acoustic guitar album / open tunings

I just finished a 14 song all-acoustic guitar album. I used a bunch of different open tunings. Mixcraft made this very easy and a pleasing experience. All songs are original with some interesting modal stuff. The plug ins I used were all included with Mixcraft 9. I use effects sparingly, don't like ...

AKAI MPD26 USB pad controller help

I am thinking of getting a pad controller, the AKAI MPD26. Does anyone here know how to set this up in Mixcraft? I am using Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. I tried setting up a similar device a few years ago but Mixcraft couldnt find the device...there was no way to set it up. I want to use this MPD26 basica...

Setting master volume????

I read somewhere about setting your MASTER TRACK (vol) to -6db for final mastering/mix and adjust accordingly. I dont understand this. It was for "headroom" but didnt go into detail. Since I have been using Mixcraft for the last 12 years I have NEVER touched the master volume. So just for ...
