Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Thanks, but previous versions had an actual tool tip when you moved the mouse cursor over any spot on the piano role. The tool tip displayed the note right there.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

In previous versions of Mixcraft, you could mouse over any area of the piano roll and it would display the note you were about to enter there. This feature disappeared with Mixcraft 9. I do a lot of mouse entry so would appreciate seeing this feature restored. Thanks, I love my Mixcraft btw. Also I ...

This could be of great benefit and we don't have to do anything but update windows as usual! Thanks for the heads up.

Re: piano roll

I knew that one. Finally, a question I could have helped with. Of course Mark was all over it and I was a day late. Mark, this is awesome when I need help; not so much right now LOL.

Re: need some help with the vst plugins

You can have separate tracks with the same instrument but with different settings on each track. Just cut and paste the section you want to have different setting and put it on a second track. Maybe I just misunderstood your question though.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

I love mixcraft and don't have a bunch of suggestions or requests other than simply saying I would be crushed if you neglect or mess up the piano roll. Well actually, I would be super impressed and happy if I could just hit "save" and have all the files and associated files included in the save file...

Re: Meters and levels

This is a tough one to generalize. I work exclusively in piano roll - entering notes from sheet music as a hobby. I also almost always use virtual instruments, and only occasionally sampled sound files. Here's what I do: I never touch the "master" meter- I leave it at 0. I start by setting all the t...

VSCO2 Rompler

This free collection of orchestral vsti is available for use in Kontakt. Most of the instruments sound pretty good even in their dry form. I haven't downloaded it yet and was wondering if anyone has experience using it.

Re: Mixcraft 8.1

Great update. I don't know if you fixed it on purpose or not, but when I went from 7pro to 8pro I was a bit annoyed by the fact that when in piano roll I would lose my place when moving from track to track and have to scroll to the end every time I change tracks. Now its fixed! I thought I would jus...

Re: Off topic? Just a HUGE thanks!

I second this sentiment! I hadn't used software to make music since I bought the Roland MT32 back in 1993. Being recently retired, I missed that feeling of creating music. I too just stumbled upon Mixcraft mainly because it looked fairly professional and the price for Home Studio was nice and afford...

Re: When is Mixcraft 8 coming out?

I wanted to buy it but when I went to the page to enter my email so it would tell me what my eligibility is and it sent me the email it just sent me a link on where to download Mixcraft Pro 7 of which I already have. I guess maybe they are not fully ready yet. Usually they send an email when an upg...

Re: Mixcraft Pro Upgrade Value

I upgraded from 7 to pro 7 about a month ago. I've been very happy that I did. Pianissimo is a great upgrade for piano. The acoustica instruments are pretty good so mainly I have used the instruments in ME80 and the others to overlay and enhance enhance those. Though you might find some real gems in...
