I've not read the rest so consider these back up for people who've already said these things. I'm with you guys! Edit: I didn't mean for thi...

Re: sends on virtual instrument 'output' tracks
Thanks guys. The sounds are pretty great to be honest. It's just about adding in a bit of character, at the touch of a slider.
Here's the vid I'm talking about:

Re: sends on virtual instrument 'output' tracks
In a perfect world!
Seriously though thanks for the input. Was helpful!
The context is metal music. To make the drums sound nuts without doing any unnecessary damage I guess lol.

sends on virtual instrument 'output' tracks
Hi! I watched a video saying that its good to have every drum going to a send track with a compressor, so you can have the same compression on all the drums without them effecting eachother. Like so the kick doesn't dip the trail of a cymbal when the kick is hit after the cymbal. I'm using superior ...

Re: Add in midi notes by recording them in
Thanks again! But I mean that I have an 8 pad midi trigger controller thing. AKA LPD8. So say I want to play a drum part in. I arm the vst track and play while its recording like anything else. Live. But I'm not good enough to play the whole drum piece in one go. So I want to do the kicks and snares...

Re: Add in midi notes by recording them in
Thanks for the reply Mick.
Are you doing this with your mouse or a midi controller?
I mean that I want to play it in with a midi controller. Mouse works fine.

Add in midi notes by recording them in
Hi! I just got a midi controller for doing drums in Mixcraft. What I want to know is, how would I add in midi notes to something that already exists. For example, I have a kick and snare recorded, but I want to add in the hi hats separately. Ideally I want it to loop over the midi sequence allowing ...

Re: Midi Sequencer - Save notes you selected as a preset?
Thanks for all the responses! I completely forgot to check back up on this. Greg nailed it. Would it be a massive ask to have this added? It means I can't really use templates to my advantage. I can use project files as templates however which is fine really to be honest but I hope you can see how t...

Midi Sequencer - Save notes you selected as a preset?
I'm using superior drummer and I'm mostly going to be using the same sounds.
Seems that every time I create a session I have to pick all the notes again.

Re: Half midi tempo without changing track temp
The drum track is indeed midi.
Thanks for the suggestion DZ987. I'll give that a shot!

'Do it right in the first place', would be a completely valid answer.

Half midi tempo without changing track temp
Hi folks! Quite new to Mixcraft but quite gutted I didn't start using it years ago! So delighted. Anyways, I was wondering if there is a way to re-space midi notes so that they become half the tempo. I did a drum track at 250 bpm and it should have been 125. I have a new session at 125, and I've imp...
