I`ve just tried the ASIO plugIn for WinAmp (btw. for what is this usually good for ?) and the M-Audio driver worked.

Hi H, if you order the Edirol I would be verry interested in your experiences with it, particular with the behave of the ASIO driver of it in Mixcraft. I have some problems with my own USB-device from Behringer (BCA2000) in regard to it s ASIO driver which didn`t worked in Mixcraft. So if you don`t ...

"Unable to open Playback Device"
A while ago I had Problems with my USB-Audiointerface from Behringer. The ASIO driver didn`t worked and regretably the Problem couldn`t be solved by me or the Acoustica support. Since I`ve love the program I bought an new Audiointerface from M-Audio (PCI -Audiophile 24/96) but sadly if I choose ASIO...

Hi beeffa69, I would recommend to you something like Behringer`s V-Amp (don`t know if other units like pod`s or tonelabs or zooms etc. can do it too). Whith it it`s possible to record clean while hearing the processed sound. I believe you can even record both at the same time, so that you have the f...

to have different inputs makes sense even if you have to choose just one of them. Depends what you like to record : instrument, line (POD/V-Amp), synth) or Mic. But I have to explain more precise what I`m interessted in. If I search a big online-musicstore for Audiointerfaces I get dozens of units w...

thx for your post EL34. A typicall scenario for me is to record me and one of my students either at home or at the musicschool I teach (which is the reason why I like to have a easy transportable unit). I`m aware of the advantages a PCI card has over an USB/FW interface in regard to latency issues (...
