Re: Mixcraft 8 Pro crashes on exit Windows 10.
It happens on a blank project. No plugins are loaded.

Mixcraft 8 Pro crashes on exit Windows 10.
Unfortunately Windows doesn't spit out a code. I didn't have this issue with the betas.
I haven't made anything yet. The demo plays fine. The only issue seems closing the program.
This happens on two machines.

Re: Mixcraft upgrades (was Mixcraft Suggestions)
Hi Greg I have Mixcraft Pro 7 and to upgrade to Mixcraft 8 Is a fantastic price. When I purchased Mixcraft Pro 7 boxed It had a nice paperback manual with It . Will Pro 8 have one available as I like to sit down and read a real book now and then.. OR/ will I be able to buy a boxed upgrade to get on...

Re: Biting the Windows 10 bullet
So are you saying that my EWX 2496 should work under Win 7 using the XP drivers (that's the last working copy I have)? Terratec had Windows Vista 64 beta drivers that can be gotten from their ftp site. They worked great in W7x64. Eventually the issue is not with drivers but on new motherboards even...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
i agree with the browser suggestion. i would love to see a browser where we could drag our loops, vst's, and mixcraft's own loop library like in studio one, or reaper, or reason 9. it is much easier than hitting the open sound button. it would increase workflow, i my opinion. I mentioned that one b...

Re: Mixcraft Pro Upgrade Value
Mixcrafters, I am weighing the value of upgrading to Pro version (Any version number at this point). Not so much in terms of $ value but whether all the "bells and whistles" are a good fit for me. In other words, would I be filling up my hard drive like a digital hoarder needlessly? Consi...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Far from my biggest weakness, but I struggle with remembering shortcut keys as well. It's especially hard when I try to remember them for 6, 8 programs or more. It helps me to focus on one or two, and practice. My daddy always said "repetition will form an impression on even the dullest of min...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Just found out if you hold G or E you get lots of tracks. I will have to remember this but remembering hot keys is my biggest weakness.Mark Bliss wrote:CTRL+G for audio tracks, CTRL+E for virtual instrument tracks.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I have used other DAWs so I have this habit of right clicking the track pane to add another track.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
1) You can import sounds to the library independently, and there is a form of manager for that, but the naming and organizing conventions are still cumbersome, and as you mentioned, totally lacking MIDI support. I am not very familiar with how other DAW's have integrated this, but it seems that MID...

Re: Biting the Windows 10 bullet
I was worried most of my M-Audio stuff would turn into doorstops. M-Audio AP2496, 192, FW 410 all work. The biggest surprise is my old Terratec EWX still runs and it's using Vista 64 beta drivers. When it comes to the Mac/PC debate all of that hardware would not run on the latest versions of OSX. Gi...

Re: Win 10 Anniversary update
I have a dedicated Mixcraft PC that is not connected to the internet. Air-Gapped, I guess you would call it. Have the Anniversary Edition (at least all updates and including that). I have to physically connect my PC to get updates and what-not. Since there is some data gathering by MS, I just choos...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
A great. It didn't take long to meet an ignorant fan boy. There's no need to be insulting, he's only expressing an opinion. Is there an ignore list? Are you now expecting a 'Safe space' (groan! ) to be available in the forum because you don't like what he said? Take it as part of the ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
A feature no one misses? How do you know? I'm guessing it was never implemented. Because if you do a search in this thread about 'media access' guess what? Reason and Live users would not agree with you. Which is why I use what I want and they use what they want. I made a feature request and what I...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
About 5 clicks max, perhaps. Which is four too many. Hours and hours (hundreds?) of programming time to save each user a 'click' or two couldn't possibly justify the price increase necessary to thrill MC users into a lockstep with what 'all the other DAWS' can do. This is strawman. Reaper added not...
