Re: Proggy Atmospheric Metal
This is a really great sounding track man. If you write any more in this style, I'd love to hear them. Keep it up brother! Thanks! I'm taking it easy with playing guitar at the moment since my hands have been acting up lately, but I might still release some not-so-serious stuff in the near future. ...

Re: Blue
You've got an excellent singer! Mix-wise there's some room for improvement. Now these are just my personal opinions so treat them as such since I'm not an expert. Especially the drums are very reverby (compared to the other instruments) and a bit heavy sounding (almost like from a 80's hair metal so...

Re: Proggy Atmospheric Metal
Very nice. I'm pretty sure that I made this entirely with mixcraft "Entirely with Mixcraft" means the mixing, or the instruments too? The guitar? The electric guitars were processed with free (Poulin LeXtac) and demo-version (Bias amp demo, which for some reason doesn't know how to act li...

Proggy Atmospheric Metal
Hi, This is a ~6-month-old track that I made when I applied to a vocational music school (music technology line) last spring. I recently listened to it again and thought that it was actually a really cool track so I uploaded it to youtube. All opinions and criticism, be it positive or negative, is w...

Re: Progressive instrumental rock
Excellent work, I love the drums! Thanks! This is actually the first track I used superior drummer 2 on. I had no idea how to mix drums since I had only used plugins with preprocessed sounds (in my case the quite decent free MT Power drumkit 2) so the sounds here were done pretty much by trial and ...

Re: Progressive instrumental rock
This is super! Really professional sounding! I like the mix, the balance, the stereo-guitars, the arrengements, the performance...everything! Did you do this by yourself? I hear a little jazz, some celtic influences and Satriani of course. Is that a fretless bass? Sometimes it sounds like a Rickenb...

Re: Progressive instrumental rock
I don't think anyone could criticize this, its perfect. Amazing job! Oh that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :D thank you for the kind words! Fantastic! Loved all of it especially the parts where you brought the mood down. Amazing musicianship on all tracks but the bass, whoa, superb. The m...

Progressive instrumental rock
Hi, this is a kinda guitar-driven instrumental prog thingy that I've finally finished. I'd really appreciate it if you checked it out. All kinds of opinions and constructive criticism is welcome. I recorded and mixed this in mixcraft though my friend mastered it (and he uses FL-studio). It features ...
