Re: Animal & nature sound effect request
Animal/nature sounds that are not actual real samples but simulated by a synth aka "patches" are a very niche thing and not as common or in demand as you seem to think; that's why DAWs have little if any and most VIs have little if any as well...but I'm sure they're out there. That said, I'm not awa...

Re: Can someone help a newbie how to install waves plugins
Sorry I can't help, but now you see why I gave up on Waves plugins; I've heard similar from people using many other DAWs, so it isn't the DAW. You might want to try asking on the KVR forum.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Something that I think could definitely help Mixcraft's selling power going forward is some improvement in the included Acoustica (i.e. not third party) effects plugins. There is a full suite there, but they're really - really - basic and most have such a stripped-down, 90s look with those plain gre...

Re: New free synth plugin from Cherry Audio
eh - most any soft synth can do the retro 80s stuff. I guess if you don't have one or want one dedicated to just that it's worth a look.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
When inserting a Virtual Instrument track, a category of "recently used" would be nice (in addition to <Favourites> <VSTI Instruments> etc) That would be a very nice to have. Request that this feature be disabled or at least made optional: when I hit "R" it starts recording. For someone who uses th...

Re: Petty Peve About DAWs Interface
.... Okay, so you realize, don't you, that you're talking about a virtual instrument, and I'm talking about a VST plugin? Apparently what you DON'T realize is that a virtual instrument IS a VST plugin. ... So I'm guessing you're responding to this post in your sleep, that must be it, right? i mean,...

Re: Monitor suggestion?
I can't speak to those specific ones, but I would recommend JBL 305s (5") which IMO is plenty for that size space, but you could go for the 308s if you really felt the need. I don't think they have any extra low end, but studio monitors aren't supposed to anyway....

I waited; it was worth it. Very basic and simple but a good sound, good enough to use on a final track.

Re: Good keyboard\control surface that works natively with mixcraft?
I don't have any problems but this is a good general topic. I suspect most work with few if any hitches, but such things would be good to know. I'm shopping for an 88 key MIDI controller...Nektar's Impact LX leads the way. Anyone used this or others with MC?

Re: Guitar simulating plugins
Any particular reason they have to be in one plugin? There are some good plugins out there, but usually they play just one guitar type.
