Re: vst instruments: Messiah v1 and Messiah v2

On the other hand.......

For some reason with v2 you can't do glissandos using the mouse. :) And the presets appear somewhat different...I mostly use v1.

Re: Instantly minimize/hide VI windows?

Put the following code in a AutoHotKey script Thanks but uh - a what? That's not even in the manual. :) Hi, Ctrl+right-click on Change Instrument or FX will close all the virtual instruments or effects for that track. (Right-clicking opens everything on that track). Greg Thanks also Greg, but I mea...

Instantly minimize/hide VI windows?

Is there a way to click on something and instantly minimize or hide all of the VI windows I have open so I can quickly view my tracks? It's quite easy for things to get cluttered on a DAW, as we all know, so this would be really handy...I get tired of clicking on and moving stuff out of the way. I l...

Disable plugins....why?

Just wondering. I've never messed with this. It is just so visually you have a shorter list?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Give me the option that when the end of the last track is reached, i.e. the song is over, MC stops playing. Currently it keeps cruising along its merry way for who knows how long, despite nothing whatsoever to play. I get sometimes people might find this useful with fade-outs or whatnot...but this i...

Re: Way to "zoom in" on tracks?

Thanks, but I can only increase the track height so far as I can't make that middle bar go down, and I am mostly MIDI so exporting wouldn't help most of the time. At the very least, being able to drag that bar down so the Sound/Mixer section effectively disappears would help...but it'd be great if I...

Can't play youtube videos with Mixcraft up

Anyone run into this? Wondering if it's me or what. I get an "audio renderer error."

Re: Spitfire's BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover VST

? Pretty sure BBCSO is 64 bit so probably installed in C:\program files\vstplugins or something similar, not the x86 directory. But either way, make sure the directory where you have BBCSO installed is there.

Re: Computer

Depends what you plan to do. I wouldn't buy a computer based on the minimum requirements of any one app. I'd say 8GB is the bare minimum to do much of anything (although I'm still squeaking by on 4GB, what I'm doing is very basic) and if you can afford it, I would get 16GB so you have some "room." A shout-out for Acoustica Instrements/Expanded Instruments

I got back to these looking for something and was re-introduced to how much there is here...there is a LOT here, good stuff, that's going to save me a lot of time, money, and hassle. Props!

Re: Soundtoys Little Alterboy

They have some good stuff. :)

And really almost all plugins are compatible with almost all DAWs (assuming VST format and allowing for the OS of course...).
