Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

i've mentioned this before somewhere...but it's so basic and just something simple that would really make such a difference....is just to have more (many more, possibly a color wheel) options for track color selections. Seconded! 7. APPEARANCE & THEME: The appearance and theme of Mixcraft makes...

I don't normally bother with VST3 for two main reasons: graphics glitches still occur
Preach it! I have had issues with VST3 plugins and tried several different DAWs (out of desperation...no way am I leaving Mixcraft), same issue. VST3 stinks. I see zero benefit and only issues.

Re: 12 String Sound From a 6 String Guitar

Interesting...this has me wondering though, are there any worthwhile 12-string guitar plugins?

Re: Revisiting MC's stock instruments

Totally agree! The stock plugs are pretty neat too. 8) ? You mean the effects plugins? Agree if so. Curious which one's do you enjoy most? I actually like and am re-discovering some of the stock VIs. It may not technically be "the best" and very basic, but I like the sound of the strings,...

Insert forehead slap here. That's exactly what I needed, thanks! I wonder how many times I've seen that thing and didn't realize that's what it was, doh.

Re: Copy/pasting a section of a track

Appreciate the replies. trev's didn't work for me but that's I'm sure because I don't quite understand it, and tbh I shouldn't have to. I'm not interested in cropping anything and IMO this should be as simple as copy/paste and that's it. I should be able to just click on (or mouse drag over) a secti...

Copy/pasting a section of a track

Say I record a simple bass line (just a few notes). I want to just copy/paste that across the entire song as basically a loop. I thought I could do just that: hit copy/paste paste paste (etc as many times as I want). But when I paste it, it overlays the preceding section vs being bumped right up aga...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Have 'Save As' go directly to the folder in which the currently opened project resides, rather than the Mixcraft root. ? It does this already, at least mine does. That said, there should be a way to set the Save As default folder to any folder you want. Currently it goes to wherever the last save w...

Re: Favorite VIs per instrument

I must confess I'm not a big user of Virtual Instruments, but when I do, I find Mixcraft’s offerings to be more than adequate for my purpose. I agree that they are surprisingly good and I have used as well. I have used for ex. the strings and happy with results....but it isn't just about the qualit...

Re: Tracks longer than music

First Ken I just want to thank you for this thread so I know I'm not the only one who wants it this way :) And I don't think some of you get what he means. Or maybe I don't? I don't think this is about reverb or fading out. It's about the player indicator (the yellow line) keeps on cruising off to t...

Favorite VIs per instrument

Wondering what others are using and how they stack up....some thoughts offhand for me: Grand Piano: the Denver Grand and Ivy 162 are both free and IMO both excellent. I see no need to buy or get anything else Upright Piano: the Rain Piano by Sampletekk is great IMO; as advertised, a "lot of cha...
