I figured it out. With this plugin you actually have to record some midi first with an instrument, then rewind and hit play. Then Hexcel kicks in adds variations to what you played.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing. Hexcel first, with Acoustica Pianissimo second.
I can hear the Piano fine but I can see that Hexcel isn't connecting at all. Nothing moves in it's GUI when I play.

OK, I tried that. It worked perfectly for mixing down to .wav However, I tried the same technique for .mp3 and that didn't work. I'm using Itunes as my MP3 player. Is anybody successfully using Lunacy Audio 'Cube' in Mixcraft? It works fine within the DAW but when I mix down to .wav or .mp3 all of the sounds from Cube go silent while every other instrument plays fine. I went back and re-watched all of their instructional videos. Apparently it doesn't work on every synth plugin. It does list that it works on Pigments so I tried that and it worked. You also have to manually set the pitch bend range within Pigments to match whatever you set in fluid pitch.

I tried it both ways and it didn't seem to have any effect on the pitch wheel whatsoever.
In the manual it says that fluid pitch needs to be the first instrument. But when I set it up like that, the second instrument doesn't make any sound.
So, I wasn't sure if there's another setting I need to use.

Does anyone know if the plugin "Fluid Pitch" from Pitch Innovations works in Mixcraft 9? It's supposed to help you get more options out of your pitch wheel.
I recently purchased it and haven't figured out how to make it work yet.

Totally agree, and there are tons of 3rd party soundbanks that vastly enlarge Omnisphere's already enormous possibilities. I love all of the stuff at Pluginguru.com

Agree with all of the above. I would add Omnispere, Arturia V collection and MTron Pro as my other go-to's.

I use Neutron on almost every track, seems to need low resources. Works beautifully in Mixcraft assuming you have a decent computer.

I think $39 to get Melodyne and a bunch of upgrades to an already amazing product is a great deal.
I just hope they also add a de esser to version 8.
