Re: Export to OMF for ProTools?
No OMF support in Mixcraft.I To the best of my knowledge there are a couple common DAW's that support the format, and that it is more common in the bigger video workstation programs. Thanks Mark, could you name the common DAWs you have in mind? I don't know if the protocol on Mixcraft allows you to...

Export to OMF for ProTools?
I've been working on this project for months. I'm nearing completion in a matter of weeks. The studio doing the mixing sent me their requirements for files delivery. I'm on Mixcraft (Windows), they are on ProTools and Logic (Mac). He asked me to send OMF files. So of course I've researched the forum...

Performance Panel vs Vintage synths sequencers
So I'm diving a bit further into the features in Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio by exploring the Performance Panel. But I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around the process. So if anyone is listening and able to give me some feedback I'd be grateful. (Yes I watched a couple video tutorials, but it's a...

Bitrate dilemma
Hi, I'm receiving files tomorrow from a studio. They will be at 24bit/48kHz. However in Mixcraft settings I only see 32bit/44.1kHz as an option. Only if I choose Wave will it give me the option. Is there something I'm doing wrong on my end? I'm using M-Audio Fast Track Ultra plugged USB (I don't hav...

Re: Record Click Track?
In MC 7 Can I record the metronome to a track? I have a drum track sent to me that is off just a little. I'd like to line up the tracks to the click waveform. Is that possible and how do I do it? Thanks, Ron BTW I couldn't find any tutorials that explained it. Evidently the simple answer is sadly &...

Suggestion - ARMED tracks indicators on toolbar?
Please move to proper thread if needed, I could not find suggestions of feature requests. So, I've been using MXC more than ever now and here is something that would really help (I think): When tracking and recording for a while, I noticed too late that I had tracks that were still armed, so whateve...

Re: Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
OK, so following that video's instructions, I Added a Send track and selected a reverb.
However, then I open the Mixer, there is no "red button send." It does nothing,
What am I missing?
Thanks!

v8 Pro: installing Melodyne after the fact?
Hi, I am not recording singers so I never installed Melodyne on V8 Pro Suite. But now I find myself in need to tweak a narration a bit. So how would I go about installing Melodyne on v8, on Windows 7 64? And would it also be available to use on my other computer in my home? ALTERNATIVELY : could I d...

Moving a project between computers: best practices?
I have a project I started in one room in my apartment (Windows 7, Mixcraft 8 Pro), and want to now move it to my other computer (Windows 10, Mixcraft 8 Pro). What is the best way to WRAP a project for moving it, anything specific I should do when I "wrap it" for "travel?" It has...

Re: Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
Plus with send tracks you are not putting as heavy a load on the CPU which could otherwise happen, even with sub-mixes. With all those individual instances of fx on multiple tracks it requires more power. Not necessarily a deal breaker on all projects, but I've found it helpful in optimizing my PC ...

Thanks!

Re: Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
Thank you!! Awesome!
1- I'm using v8. I never saw the need to move beyond v8 in the middle of a critical project.
2- I'll check all this material and see if I can manage.
3. Extra points for the quick responses!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Cheers!
