Mixer: 1 reverb for 4 tracks? How?
Hi, Ok, time for me to be a bit more professional on how I use the mixer. Usually I assign an effect for each track (i.e. reverb, but by so doing I can end up with different reverbs type and settings. The idea is to have 4 tracks of the vocals and going through them to pick the best parts of each be...

Re: Declutter workspace: convert MIDI tracks to audio stems?
Right click on the virtual instrument track on the track bar side then you can see the option to mix down to audio! Wow, it was under my nose the whole time! This - for me - is a game-changing feature. Very happy that it's part of Mixcraft. I made a copy of my project, and on the copy I was able to...

Declutter workspace: convert MIDI tracks to audio stems?
Is there an option to *quickly* convert a "virtual instrument" track to an audio stem (I think that is the term)? Something I didn't notice maybe, like a "right-click" option or something? I often will insert short percussion or sound effects in a song. But it ends up using a ful...

Re: Not sure how to call this, loop start point not resetting
Interestingly, before I got your reply I selected CoreAudio (waveRT) instead of ASIO, and that fixed it. Got a bit concerned I had done something irreparable...
Thanks!

Re: Not sure how to call this, loop start point not resetting
Thank you Greg! I will look into that once I fix my new issue: chipmunk sound.

Not sure how to call this, loop start point not resetting
[Mixcraft 8 on Windows 7 64] Check this out (image below text): 8d410e1220b4693eac5da805b3ddf7a1.png Even if the waveform shows it's at the beginning of the track (like I want it), in the loop section I can't get rid of the loop point I previously created. No matter if I right-click there or on the ...

waveRT options : only 32bit?
Win 7, M-audio Ultra Fast Track, Asio I'm working with older files (16bit) and I just noticed the options in waveRT are only for 32bit. 1- should there not be other selections possible? 2- ASIO and WAVE show more options. Will I miss anything going for either> 3- ASIO or should I install Asio4all? T...

Re: AUTOWARP: crappy sounding, or is it just me?
It is a wav file. 44.1 x 16t. Are you aware of other users who have successfully use Autowarp for professional purposes? Maybe it is more a fun gadget than a serious tool. I'll look at other offering out there to see if I can find something solid.
Thanks,
Andre

Re: AUTOWARP: crappy sounding, or is it just me?
I think it does get the beat, yes. But the resulting sound is garbled. No matter if I go moderate or looser. It stretches, so it causes distortion, but this is unusable. It sounds like if you go on YouTube and slow down the playback speed of a music or speech video. Except worse. I'm curious if ther...

Re: AUTOWARP: crappy sounding, or is it just me?
Thanks Greg, I was using build 415. I just updated to 418.
Still the same. My original BPM is 90. After I apply Autowarp, even the vocals are getting slowed. The sound is garbled and filled with artifacts.
QUESTION: does this using Melodyne in any way? I never installed it.

AUTOWARP: crappy sounding, or is it just me?
Hi, I'm having a problem understanding Autowarps results. After watching your video on it (for v7, but I'm on v8), I applied autowarp to a file I have (2 tracks mix so I can redo it). But when I audition the result, it sounds terrible! (I went with Moderate and then with Loose. Same thing. What am I...

Re: Any "bundle" file save option? (Moving projects from v.7 to v.8)
Or, maybe if I reinstall the VSTs, will Mixcraft go get the proper patch for each since it should be in memory (it's looking for them, so Mixcraft actually should know)? Hi, Yes, try installing the plugins on the new computer. They should load up properly. Greg Thanks, big job ahead, dealing with i...

Re: Any "bundle" file save option? (Moving projects from v.7 to v.8)
Thank you Greg, How about this then: is there a way to print a text file containing the details of each track? That would really speed up the process of reloading the proper VSTis and VSTs to be able to follow a list indicating the VSTs and their settings? Or, maybe if I reinstall the VSTs, will Mix...
