Any "bundle" file save option? (Moving projects from v.7 to v.8)
Hi, I'm going back to a project I started when using v.7, installed on another computer. Now that I'm using v.8 on my studio computer, I'd like to reopen these projects. v.8 is opening the file from v.7 and searching for each track's VST. But the big challenge, however, is that I don't have the same...

Re: Can Mixcraft "analyze" an audio file to create loops
I have v 415. Most of the update to 418 is said to be about Melodyne. I haven't installed it and don't need it.

Re: Can Mixcraft "analyze" an audio file to create loops
Thanks, although it's not working correctly in my case (too much data to process to hit the right markers), it's a great feature I'll try again.
Cheers!

Can Mixcraft "analyze" an audio file to create loops
Hi guys, I'm looking into remixing an older tune I've done during my Acid years (the software, I mean). I'd like to know if there is a function in Mixcraft that can "analyze" the file, determine its BPM, and then "marker" each segment so I could split them on a "snap" g...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Closing Plugins dialogue windows faster. One thing that could save time and many clicks, is the ability to shut a VST or VSTi window by clicking beside it. Just like when we have pop-ups that open on some sites, or in Windows. Some require us to click on a response - either a X, "close," ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Add a PAUSE button to the transport bar. "Just toggle the play button" you might say...but I have it set up so that when I toggle the PLAY button, it auto-rewinds to the beginning, which I often use. Still, there are times when I want to just stop right wherever I am and not rewind all th...

Re: Customizing workflow - skin, start-up, etc.
On my PC I can change the scaling by changing the high DPI scaling override. When I had it set to system, Mixcraft was scaled up. Set to application and it scaled smaller with room for more tracks, etc. Your system may or may not respond the same way, but it's worth a try. Scaling.jpg Thank you Tho...

Re: Customizing workflow - skin, start-up, etc.
Thank you Greg! That worked very well. :) Melodyne gone, and splash screen customized to my liking. As for the buttons, I'll be OK. One more question I'm trying to figure out. Let's say I want to introduce a short guitar solo in the middle of the song I'm working on. At the moment, when I stop recor...

[Solved] Customizing workflow - skin, start-up, etc.
Hi all, On Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit). 1- I'd like to NOT load Melodyne on start-up , I may use it in the future, but I'm basically never recording vocals. I notice it slows down the load up. I disabled Melodyne it within the Manage Plugin-ins, and unchecked Load VST effects and Instruments, but...

Purchasing Mixcraft: STEAMPOWERED.COM???
Well, I was about to purchase Mixcraft 8 Home Studio (I own v.7 but for some reason it's not showing in my products anymore). I'm given two (2) options: STEAM, which I can download, and AMAZON, which I will have to wait a week for. I looked into STEAMPOWERED, and the reviews are atrocious. I am not ...

Using Performance remove Swiss cheese gaps on tracks?
I'm working on a song that is reaching 27 tracks. Obviously because I can't load different VSTis on the same track, I have tracks that have only one bar of synth, or one set of drum hits on it, etc. 5b087588718cd8e0e489a6f5d24144b8.png I'm wondering if anyone knows if Mixcraft could get around this ...
