Re: Using Pink Noise for a reference mix.
Hey Mark, Sorry you didn't enjoy the video's that me and Mick posted. I found the video's useful for mixing with pink noise and help people get a good static mix. I'm not saying you not going to have to make a couple small adjustments but it seems to get you in better balance between all the instrum...

Re: Using Pink Noise for a reference mix.
Thanks Greg, I did see that video. Here's a couple videos that I found recently about pink noise mixing. I know it's Studio One but of course it can be used in any DAW. Very interesting concept. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayB-FlPxk_E

Using Pink Noise for a reference mix.
Hello Everyone, Have you ever mixed with pink noise for a reference mix/ static mix? From my understanding, the mix Buss should be peaking at 0db when pink noise is audible. And while one is using a sound level meter app, the pink noise should be set between 75db for a small room and 85db for a larg...

Re: Recording vocals in Mixcraft 8
Hi Alison, I imagine you already tried this but if not thought I would suggest this if you haven't. Did you try a different Mic cable. I've had one of the pins break off in the past and it still worked but I was getting a very low volume response. I connected a new cable and that did the trick.

Re: Feedback on iZotope Neutron and Ozone7
Hi Doug, Processor and RAM are very important for a music rig. I Didn't spare any expense when I had this system built and wanted to make sure it was future proof for at least 4-5 years. Here's my PC specs. Operating system - Windows 10 Professional Motherboard - ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA LGA...

Re: Feedback on iZotope Neutron and Ozone7
Thanks Doug, Yeah I really like track assistant and the masking features of Neutron. It saves a huge amount of time and it gets you a close analysis of were your setting should be. I usually do some small adjustment but what a great tool to have. Yeah your new PC will plow threw it no problem at all...

Feedback on iZotope Neutron and Ozone7
Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if any of you use iZotope Neutron and Ozone7. I did download the 10 day trial versions awhile back and was really impressed. But I thought I would ask the Mixcraft community what there impression was of these two products. Thanks in advance for the feedback..Geddy

Effects chains across Mixcraft's master output buss
Hi Everyone, I was just wondering what effects chains do you use across the master output buss when your ready for final mastering of your song. And in what order do you prioritize what effects are first and last in the chain. I know everyone is slightly different but was curious to see what other M...

Re: My newest song on SoundCloud..Enjoy!
Thanks Comedian, I do see both of your points on more emphasis on the vocals. Guess I could of sang them in a more comedic way I guess you can call it. It was a fun song to record I guess it can be categorized as Comedy Rock as I like to call it.

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
I totally agree with what Mark said. I do test tracks on Soundcloud before posting my final version of my songs. And remember to put them on private this way you can compare each adjustment you have made. On my song Stupid Commercials I did at least 20 test tracks and wrote down every adjustment I m...
