Hi Ian
That plugin is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much - really appreciated.

Re: Is there a way to level cymbal crashes in drum mix?
Could you not adjust the velocity of the cymbal crash in the midi map?

Re: Recording VSTi to WAV without midi loaded
Hi Eric Ok, I've uninstalled ASIO completely. This was a little easier said than done as although the software disappears, the drivers and registry entries remain. For anyone who is interesting in completely removing ASIO, you will need to edit the registry and delete the folders at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACH...

Re: Recording VSTi to WAV without midi loaded
Ah sorry - that was my misunderstanding, Eric. Yeah, I tried that. I get absolutely no sound at all with that enabled. No recording and no play back. Instead, I get an error message saying that: "Mixcraft was unable to open your playback device with your current setting..." I have 3 playba...

Re: Recording VSTi to WAV without midi loaded
Cheers Ian Unfortunately, no dice. I've been through all the options matching the mixer recording input to that in the preferences... and it still doesn't work. Looking at other forums, it appears that there is an issue with ASIO drivers conflicting with MS GS Synth. There are various work arounds (...

Re: Recording VSTi to WAV without midi loaded
Hi Eric, Thanks for your response. The "mix to new audio track" doesn't work. The reason for this is that the tab is loaded within the VSTi, and not onto the actual track. The "mix to new audio" is greyed out - see below. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/7b/0d/67/7b...

Recording VSTi to WAV without midi loaded
Hi All, I'm need of some help - I have done this before... but I can't remember how I did it. The Short Story I want to record the output from a VSTi track to an Audio Track as WAV, as the VSTi track plays - NOT, using the mixdown function. The Long Story I have used Guitar Pro 6 to create a tab, an...

De-robotize timestretched sample? (Mixcraft 7)
Hi All
Rookie question:
I am time-stretching an individual sample to approximately x2.5 its original length.
The end result sounds quite robot-like, with distortions etc.
Is there a way to edit out the imperfections? Or perhaps there is a plugin solution?
Thanks in advance

Re: Converting Drum Midi Type 0 to Midi Type 1
Bottom line answer, no there is no direct way to do what you describe. (IE: Export individual drum instrument tracks as MIDI data.) ... pretty much defy the intent of EZD in the first place........ Mark you're pretty much spot on with everything there. I tried highlighting each channel in the midi ...

Re: Converting Drum Midi Type 0 to Midi Type 1
When you open an EZD track in MC it'll have child tracks that can be customized. Also, go to the Mixer tab in EZD and each channel has it's own channel strip too. Lastly, you can do an individual track for each drum if you want, tedious but doable. I'm just a hobbyist so I don't know about all the ...

Converting Drum Midi Type 0 to Midi Type 1
Hi guys Strictly, this may not be a Mixcraft topic so please move as appropriate. The Short Story I have a drum section in Midi Type 0 format. How do I convert/extract tracks to a Type 1 format? The Long Story I got Toontracks EZ drummer 2 and a few pattern libraries. The sound presets are not exact...

Re: Mixcraft 7 Pro Studio 7 - how to create an accelerating BPM?
You folks can fantasize about what would be a great feature, or fork out $500+ for a DAW that has that feature and live with all the complicated routing 'features' that come with it, or if you want to accomplish the task today, follow my suggestions in my previous post, because I would predict we a...

Re: Mixcraft 7 Pro Studio 7 - how to create an accelerating BPM?
This would be a good time to suggest a tempo track using automation points to increase/decrease tempo over a chosen time, here's a little example. tempo.PNG This is exactly what I'm trying to do. I know I can do it it in Guitar Pro (where I'm creating my DI's) and in Pro Tools 12 (but I'm not a fan...
