Re: 10.5- nothing doing
Hi Greg. It does indeed say 10.5. Obviously I was looking for the stem separator. It's not there. No templates other than my own. Not a hint of the new plugin management that I can see. The install seemed to go without a glitch over about 10/15 minutes or so but as I say. Literally no differences at...

Re: Controlling external devices via midi
Thank you, that makes sense. To multi track would it be as simple as linking midi channels one to eight to instrument tracks one to 8 on mix craft?

Controlling external devices via midi
Hi I have a yamaha genos keyboard which will accept midi cc via usb. I know mixcraft will send clock and sync, but can I use it to control notes and cc inputs to my workstation keyboard.? That is, I want to use mixcraft as a sequencer(at least I think that's what I'm saying? ) If so where can I fin...

Sidechain compressor?
Hi, is there now stock side-chain capable compressor, or one that is recommended? I was using a 3rd party one that isn't being scanned in MC10. Without going too overboard if I can avoid any 3rd party apps which might bloat project file size, all to the good.

32 bit float audio interface
Hi All, I'm thinking of acquiring this little beast. https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/audio-interface/audio-interfaces/uac-232/ I appreciate it comes at the cost of bigger file sizes, that aside would anyone see any difficulty in compatability with M/C 9 pro? I also wonder if it's capacity for such extrem...

Re: Mixing to stems/multitracks
Further excellent advice. I've used Mp3 quite a lot and do find it tends to work quite well generally. My preference is to stick with wav for vocals though.

Re: Mixing to stems/multitracks
Thank you. File size not a problem since I went to SSD. At the time I was doing everything I could to lighten the load on a flaky mechanical drive. Revisiting some of that earlier stuff now with a view to improvement and sharing. Great advice. Thank you.

Mixing to stems/multitracks
Hi all, When exporting as multitracks and stems etc. will mixcraft automatically fill the silent sections of each track with silence or "null" so that each part remains synced? As a newb I tended to remove silent sections from my tracks with the idea of keeping file size low, but now wonde...
