Re: Mixcraft Sale

Of course if they bothered to fix the bugs in Mx9 it would be more tempting . After spending hundreds of pounds on GRM software which has the same right channel missing thing that happened with the Soundtoys plugins just after Mx9 was released & my bug reports since December get ignored, I've resort...

In further support of the flexible beat reference value suggestion, I believe that would allow the user to effectively obtain tempos far below 40 bpm, as some of our Mixcraft sound designers have requested.

Re: Drag Quantise altering note pitches

I haven't tried it Greg, as I expect far too many notes to quantise to the wrong positions

Drag Quantise altering note pitches

Another problem that I recall noticing before that has resurfaced is that when I outline all the notes of a track to drag quantise them slightly to the left and some of the notes are on a really low octave they will appear the same after quantisation until you start playback then you notice that the...

Defaults to all rather than selection

Could someone please explain why, in the name of god, when notes get selected in the piano roll the selection gets ignored in favour of 'select all' rather than defaulting to 'selection' whenever a selection is made ? It's completely destroyed my sequencer corrections that I spent all morning doing ...

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

Okay the difference at the instrument level differed because I added the effect at a different level on that occasion of re-testing (see pictures). This is not relevant to the problem's existence, it still exists 2020-12-12 02_53_44-Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio 64-Bit Build 469 - Mx7 test 1.mx7 _.jpg 2020-...

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

Now it isn't on at the instrument level behind the plugin when the effect is switched on. I rebooted to check that it wasn't a stability issue at Windows level and it's the same, so I don't know why it displayed being on at the instrument level in my previous posting. Anyway, now it's like this #1 e...

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

I don't know how you got that. As you can see here the mix level is zero, the instrument is on both channels at the instrument level behind the plugin (red arrow on right of picture) but only on the left on both the track meter and the plugin meter. As in yours I left it in the default setting of 'f...

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

Turn the mix level down to zero, compare that to disabling the plugin.

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

I was running it in Mx9 and it didn't work, so I started from scratch in Mx7 and saved it as an Mx7 file, which I then loaded in Mx9. It's the same file with the same settings unaltered. It works in Mx7 on both channels when the mix level is set to zero. In Mx9 it runs only on the left when the mix ...

Hi Greg,

I can't get the 64 bit version of Mx8 to work, as we discussed before.
In what way would they be configured differently ? Here are the settings for both

Re: Build 469 - new beta version

Hi, I filed Bug 12470 on Tuesday, still no sign of anyone dealing with it. It's the old left side only out of plugin problem that I pointed out earlier in the year in regard to soundtoys plugins. I have just got into debt buying INA GRM Tools Complete II, to find that several of the ones I wanted ar...

Re: BUG REPORT concerning plugins with arps or sequencers

Yes, and if using external hardware, such as the Arturia Keystep Pro it is necessary to add each of the sequencers to different MIDI channels to separate things out in advance, so using it live or practising actually involves arming all the tracks at once, so you just do it when not recording or usi...
