Yes, there's something still not right about this. I tried adding an instance of Voxengo Spectrum Analyser to a track. Each time I reopen the plugin, the gap between the actual plugin gui and the bottom of the plugin window grows a little more.
This is 32-bit build 416.

Re: Acoustica 7 Premium Edition?
I assume you mean this: https://acondigital.com/products/acoustica-audio-editor/ They have a product called 'Acoustica' but as it's been around since at least 2002 I suspect it's a bit late for Acoustica to make a claim, even if they wanted to and actually had a case, which is doubtful. It might be ...

Re: On the lookout for a good track compressor
The ToneBoosters plugins aren't free, but they are very good value.
The Compressor is part of the TrackEssentials bundle (€20) and the BusCompressor is part of the BusTools bundle (€40).

Re: Loading / registering DB-33 plugin
The iLok software just authorises the plugin license, it doesn't affect the actual plugin itself. It needs to be 64-bit on a 64-bit system because it runs as a system-level service. Regarding the plugin itself, have you checked the vstignore.ini file. It may have been blacklisted when you tried to l...

Re: Considering switching to Mixcraft 8; seeking user opinions on the following
There certainly no harm in asking questions before you jump in and if you get that 'showstopper' answer then clearly it'll be worth it but assuming you haven't, installing the trial is probably inevitable if you really need to know if Mixcraft will do what you need (though I get that time is also a ...

Re: Considering switching to Mixcraft 8; seeking user opinions on the following
I'll just say that I have a good-spec PC custom built for music production from a well-regarded vendor, and that it has allowed me to complete projects with purchased or trial versions of Audition, Acid Pro, Studio One, Mulab, Harrison Mixbus, Metro, Live, and Sonar X3 ... I'm hear to ask about Mix...

Re: Minor graphical glitch
If you compare them side by side you'll see that Mixcraft doesn't show the entire height of the plugin - there's a little grey strip at the bottom of the plugin window.
It's no big deal but as the author of these plugins I'd like them to look their best.

Minor graphical glitch
Hi
It appears that Mixcraft 8 doesn't draw plugin GUIs completely when the sidechain selector is visible and 'wrapped-arround'. Like this:
This is not a problem with the plugin itself as it renders correctly in other hosts.

Re: An easy guide to mastering using three free plugins
This is a very good tutorial on all the things to avoid when mastering. Except the plugins, which are really good choices. Not going to comment on the substance of the vid but VladG's plugins are well worth checking out. Also, SlickEQ is actually a collaboration between VladG and Herbert Goldberg o...

Re: Pecheneg Tremolo VST won't show up
It looks like Steinberg make it pretty easy to get a unique ID, but maybe some plug-in developers don't know about it or don't bother with it. This is exactly the problem. Too many plugin developers either don't know about this or choose not to use it. This form offers unique IDs and will tell you ...

Re: Pecheneg Tremolo VST won't show up
It's up to developers to come with an ID for their plugins but as far as I know there's no way of telling if a particular ID is already in use. Officially you're supposed to register them with Steinberg but not all developers do this and even if you do there's no guarantee that the IDs you choose ha...

In otherwords, I want to use one midi track to control the articulation of another midi track. You could add a second lane to the Kontakt instrument track and put the articulation midi clips in that. You could add a second lane to the Kontakt instrument track and put the articulation midi clips in that. Hi, How would that control the articulation parameter of Kontakt? Audio control should work perfectly. You could even do it pre-fader and turn down the volume on the MIDI track all the way, if y...

Try searching for the ID that Mixcraft generates: {49706566-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}Starship Krupa wrote:I searched for "fepl" in my log file and didn't find anything.
