Re: Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

I have studied all three of the pieces provided with the 64-bit Mixcraft Pro 8 release, but this one is, as noted, a little closer to the kind of thing I was looking for.

I've pulled down this copy of "Sword of Fianna" and will give it a try. (My PC is fairly burly.)

Thank you!

Re: Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

I'm running the 64-bit version (under Windows 10).

Is there a difference that I should be aware of, such as how much RAM can be used?

Re: Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

Mark, thank you for the suggestions -- those are right in line with my own thoughts on where I can improve. I did use a couple of drum loops in my "Ambient 2" piece. I spent several hours trying to build my own percussion track, but I never found the magic sauce to make it sound even halfway decent....

Smallcreep's Day by Mike Rutherford.

We used "At the End of the Day" as one of our signoff songs before turning off the transmitter to the radio station at night, which gives you a hint of how long I've been enjoying this great album.

Re: Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

I've been giving this some thought, and I believe you're probably half-right. I'm probably not sure of all the reasons for my question. I know there's a lot I still don't know. But the specific question I'm asking is clear: I'm looking for good examples of pieces made using only Mixcraft , with no e...

Re: Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

Yep, too wordy. Apologies. What I've done so far in Mixcraft is sounding too mechanical. It sounds like what it is, which is (with some edits) measures that are copied and pasted to create an arrangement. It doesn't sound enough like a professional performance. So while I work on improving my perfor...

Best Examples of Mixcraft-only Arrangements?

Hello! I recently picked up Mixcraft Pro 8, and I've composed and arranged several pieces in it so far. This is after decades of soaking up genres from prog rock to classical to funk to electronica. (If I had a patron saint, it would have to be Mike Oldfield. :D ) I've also maintained some very mino...
