Re: Audio Interface
Thanks. A preamp may be beneficial though. Can you suggest any decent, not too expensive ones?

Audio Interface
Why do I need one?
I can plug a guitar/mic/anything really directly into my sound card via jack plugs. My midi controller plugs into USB.
So, what is the benefit of an audio interface?

Re: Can't play youtube videos with Mixcraft up
I get this too. You can either do one or the other, you can't run Mixcraft and play YouTube videos at the same time. I don't know what the fix is, or if there is even a fix for this.

The Spinning Tops
The Spinning Tops is the name that myself and young son give to our musical projects. He's 13 years old and into rap and Five Nights At Freddys, so here's our latest song and video!

How To Use A Midi Controller
So, I just got a shiny new Donner dmk 25 midi keyboard but what can I do with it? I saw a promo video for it and the unit has pads and on the video, the lady is playing a nice little beat whilst playing synth on the keyboards. I'm coming to this completely blind, completely new, so can anyone point ...

Chic: The disco band...
Is anybody familiar with Chic? They had a number of disco hits in the late 70s/early 80s and their guitarist Nile Rodgers is still going strong. Anyway, their early records were notable for the use of orchestration, notably a string quartet and they sounded great. My problem is that I'm trying to re...

Mixing To Stems
Hi, I can have for example, ten midi tracks and from the file menu, I can mix down to stems and save in whichever format I choose EXCEPT Midi. Is there a way that I can save these ten midi tracks as midi files all at the one time like stems, or do I have to go through it all, saving each track indiv...

I've tried the other thread, that didn't get through either. How much do you or Greg want?

Still no 'Clear Recent Project List' option. Do you accept brown envelopes?

Clear Recent Projects List Please!!
There's a way to do it but you have to dig away through the registry, find the entries then delete them one by one manually which is both risky and time consuming.
Cheers.

Headphone Recommendations.
I've tried numerous headphones and every set has the same problem: Bleed.
I know that a certain amount of bleed is to be expected but are there any recommendations for headphones which are known to absolutely minimise bleed?
Cheers.

Re: Slow Project Loading Time
Found them at:
C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Temp\Mixcraft\C\Users\*****\Desktop\Audio Visual\MY AUDIO WORK\AUDIO RECORDING\PURE ELECTRONIC\******\1
That's very handy to know so I've added them to Crap Cleaner exceptions, thanks!

Re: Slow Project Loading Time
Thanks for the replies.
Where are the Mixcraft temporary .mpk files stored? I could then add an exception to Crap Cleaner to ignore that particular folder/files since I don't want to delete anything to do with Mixcraft anyway.
Thanks.
