Yeah, i still don't get the point thought, I'd like to know why it's a good thing to want to be able to change the guitar sound after it's been recorded, just get the sound you like messing around with the patches and then when you get something you're satisfied with, record it. Then if it's still n...

Hi Stef, Yeah meant for guitar. In the past I have been recording an effects generated guitar input (through pedals etc) but this can limit you in what you can then do to that track once its layed. If you record all clean and then process, you have a lot more flexibility, but it seems Mixcraft is m...

You mean for a guitar? As far as i know you'd be far better off using a dedicated effect processor for your guitar and then use Mixcraft for recording purposes. There are indeed effects in Mixcraft but i think they are put at a best suited use for general "finishing touch" like adding a bi...

Did you select the proper recording source in your sound card mixer or in Mixcraft? On each track, at the very end of the function buttons, (Mute,Solo, Arm) there is a little arrow, click on this and you can select the proper recording source, you should select the proper recording source from there...

I get your point, but my question remains, why Vista? Where is the real advantage into switching to this thing? my point of view is that a OS shouldnt use all of a computer's ressources, and Vista according to all of the serious reviews i have already read, is a real bad ressource hog. all of this b...

My question is, why the hell are you running such a buggy and bloated OS such as Vista? I know i wouldn't accept to install that ruin unless someone real big is pointing a gun on the side of my head. my advice? format your drive and install a fine release of Win XP Pro SP2. Then this of course only ...

I know my comment wont be of any help but, who wants to listen to music all the way up? who enjoys music so loud that your ears are bleeding? i don't... I have old vinyls of Genesis or Pink Floyd that you really have to watch for the bass level on some parts otherwise you just might fry your woofers...

This is the general idea yes.

Unless you have one of those killer top notch machines that just came out with super dual core processor speed and eons of ram and the likes that is... 8)

Anyways, you'll just have to test it and see for yourself.

You should keep in mind that recording music is a big job for a computer, the more you have things running while trying to record, the more likely you'll experience hicups and stalls in the sounds.

Yes indeed, making and recording music is a very big task for a computer, one has to make sure most of the computer ressources are available. A lot of useless stuff can load at startup, look in your taskbar at the very bottom right where your computer clock is, try to have it so you only get your cl...

Upgrade question

Hi! I recently bought a registration code for Mixcraft 3.27 wich works perfectly fine. Then today i just downloaded the 3.30 version and i installed it over the 3.27, it did fine just like an version upgrade. Is my code still valid for this new version or soon a registration pop-up might occur? Is t...
