6 seconds? From the point i click on the Icon it Takes 8 seconds to launch my copy of mixcraft 4. (can be longer if i click directly on a project file depending on how many tracks it has and so on...) Got a couple of third party VST as well (some may take a toll on your loading time) Then it Takes 3...

Well you can use any DAW program including of course Mixcraft to make music and sell it afterwards. I cannot see why it would not be suitable to make commercial music.
