Re: G-Sonique plugins

I contacted G-Sonique and got a quick reply... The plugins that are now 64-bit are not included with Mixcraft and there are no plans to include them in the future. The new versions must be purchased and a serial number will be sent for authorization. As noted previously, I have other plugins that ar...

Re: G-Sonique plugins

Well, no replies. Guess I'll have to ask G-Sonique.

G-Sonique plugins

I'm using Mixcraft 9 Pro, 64-bit. I have plenty of plugins and have removed older ones I don't use. Among those are the legacy G-Sonique plugs, mostly because they are 32-bit. I see on G-Sonique's website that there are now 64-bit versions of those same plugins available. Are they included with MX 1...

Re: VST3 Presets in Version 9 Pro Won't Load

Thanks for the input. I've traded emails with Plugin Alliance support, but they didn't provide an answer. They noted that they can't test their plugins with every DAW and then gave me a link to the presets I already have. They also suggested loading a preset manually. Nope, when I try to do that, I ...

Re: VST3 Presets in Version 9 Pro Won't Load

Thanks. I kinda figured I wasn't the only one. Guess I'll stick with VST2. I had a couple of issues with some VST3 plugins anyway. Something I may explore is to load the VST2 version of a plugin I use often, find some presets I like, copy their settings, and then apply and save them in the VST3 vers...

Re: Easiest Plugins on Computer?

If you go to the Support page of the Toneboosters site, all of their TB 3 legacy plugins can be downloaded for free, including some that are not included with either version of Mixcraft 9. All are in two files called "TrackEssentials" and "BusTools." Full manuals are also provide...

VST3 Presets in Version 9 Pro Won't Load

I believe this was asked a while back, but I'd like an update, if possible. It seems that all of my Plugin Alliance VST3 presets refuse to load, along with some others. P-A provided the preset files and required path to them, but that doesn't seem to work. The same is true for some other VST3 plugin...

Re: Mastering Software

I typically use Ozone 8 Standard or Ozone 9 Elements, but also use Brainworx Masterdesk for a quick-and-dirty master. It's a 4-step process, all on one screen, that works pretty well. There are three versions. The Classic version is available for free when you sign up with Plugin Alliance. Basically...

Re: Easiest Plugins on Computer?

Has anybody checked the CPU loads of all the now-free Toneboosters 3 plugins? Seems like quality stuff and everything one might need for a decent finished project. No over-the-top graphics, either. Unfortunately I bought some other plugins before fully exploring the TB stuff. No regrets using the pu...

Riffstation might be worth a look. It's not being developed anymore, but is still available for free.

Re: Trigger kick drum from a track

There's a plugin available at Plugin Alliance from SPL called DrumXchanger. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/spl_drumxchanger.html I've not tried it, but plan to. A 14-day trial is available. If you like it, don't let the price stop you. P-A often runs sales. Many of their plugins were $2...

Re: Possible Melodyne Upgrade Issues?

Took me a while to get back to the forum. Thanks for the replies. As soon as I finish up a couple of projects, I plan to do the upgrade. Maybe this weekend. Hoping for the best.

Possible Melodyne Upgrade Issues?

I just purchased the Mixcraft 9 Pro upgrade, but haven't installed it yet. I currently have MC 8 Pro installed and have upgraded Melodyne from Essentials to the Assistant version. Will the MC 9 upgrade keep my current version of Melodyne Assistant intact, or do I need to do something special? I prev...

Re: Saving 31 Band EQ presets

Success! - Created two new presets and saved them. - Went to the Users folder and found three new preset files. Two were the settings for the two new presets and one was some sort of ID file and identified the new presets. - Copied the files to my flash drive, keeping their long, cryptic names, but ...

Re: Saving 31 Band EQ presets

Thanks for the reply. I opened the newest pair of Mixcraft 8 .preset and .presets files with Notepad. One file consisted of settings and the other had some code, plus the names of the presets for that same plugin. I also opened a few other preset files in Notepad and found they were for a variety of...
