All you need to do is solo each track, then mix the project down. So, for instance:

1. Solo track #1
2. Mix down to "track 1.wav"

Next:

1. Unsolo track #1
2. Solo track #2
3. Mix down to "track 2.wav"

Continue until every track is mixed down.

Yes, the best thing to do is have the GB users render their tracks as WAV or AIFF files and mail them to you, or MP3 files and e-mail them to you. (MP3 will have some quality loss, of course, since it's a compressed format). Then you can load the individual tracks into Mixcraft and do the final mixi...

Recording volume control is only available if your hardware device allows control of the recording volume. Most Wave and WaveRT devices do, but ASIO devices never do.

Hi guys, When you talk about 'jazz' what styles are you hoping for? We're working on a jazz kit to be released soon. Our plan is to go with a traditional "old school" jazz sound, like this classic Dave Brubeck piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwNrmYRiX_o Would this be something you'd ...

The recording is still there on your hard drive. Check your project recording directory. There will be a .WAV file in there with the guitar recording. You have to find the right one, and know where in your project you began recording, but you can salvage the take!

Good luck,
Dan

Hi there, The tracks are labeled as 'Instrument' because they are instrument tracks. To see what the selected instrument sound is, press the piano icon on each track, click the Show Details button to see the full instrument dialog, and you'll see something like: Acoustica Instruments Trumpet This wi...

Hi there, When recording, Mixcraft will always assume that you are recording at your currently selected tempo and key. Imagine, for example, that you created a drum beat and set it to a certain tempo, then played along on your guitar and recorded your performance. Mixcraft assumes that your recordin...

Try adding some vocal compression to this vocal track. I think that's the biggest issue with this otherwise excellent track. The lyrics at around 1:40 sit excellent, but the volume of a lot of the lyrics is just too loud, then quiet. A compressor will smooth this over, making the volume track level ...

Actually, you don't need another track. Just use the Split command to split the track in two splace, at the start and at the end of the note that you'd like to pitch shift. Then select the new clip in the middle, which contains only the one note. Click on the Sound tab at the bottom of Mixcraft, and...

The trick is to grab the right side of each loop, click, and drag to the right. This will repeat the loop again and again. The loop playback mode is not designed for smooth looping; rather, it is designed for auditioning a section for purposes of adjusting volume, effects, and EQ. Try dragging the l...

Hi there,

Yes, ASIO4ALL does 'lock' the device while you are using it in Mixcraft. I'd like to understand more about what you're trying to do. You're playing songs in iTunes and recording them in Mixcraft, right? Why is low latency important for that?

Thanks,
Dan

If the song is already mixed.. just load the WAV or MP3 into a new project, click on the Sound tab, and pitch shift it to a new key.

Let me know if you need more details.

Thanks!
