Re: Raising or lowering ALL volume automation in a section
Like ray pointed out, clip automation is a little different. The grab bar dragging works, at least if you use the one furthest to the right in the clip. Using one in the middle or left doesn't move the end point. Trying to drag groups by grabbing a selected point doesn't work. You'll notice in the G...

Re: Raising or lowering ALL volume automation in a section
That's a good tip. It does work if you grab one of the selected automation points. Tested in MC 10.6 625It should work also by moving any of the automation dots (red) on selected area.

MC 10.6 625 Selected automation deselects when trying to move groups of points
Hello, When trying to move entire selected sections of automation points by using the "grab" icon, the selection DESELECTS upon clicking and only the immediate points near the grab bar move. The entire selection should remain highlighted and all of the points should move. MC 10.6 625 autom...

Re: MIDI Import Options Query
Hi Mr. Mxyzptlk, Are you importing a MIDI file and want it to separate into multiple tracks and assign Opus to each track automatically? Or are you outputting from an external software or other source and want to capture the performance or information on individual tracks? It's a little different of...

Are you using MC 10 or 9? I think MC 10 has a bug that is preventing this from happening

Re: Raising or lowering ALL volume automation in a section
Hi, I think there may be a bug in MC 10. I'm using a past beta version 10 622 and the behavior is not right. You should be able to select an entire section with a drag box. When you move the mouse within the selection, an icon with a circle with a line through it should appear. Clicking and dragging...

Re: Recording midi drums
For EZdrummer, looking at the manual there is a settings page and a General Tab. There is a MIDI Out checkbox that can only be used in the plugin (not the stand alone). This seems to be the function to route MIDI directly to the DAW. MIDI Out: Checking this option allows MIDI to be sent from EZdrumm...

Re: Midi Event editor list.
Hi It shows but you must select one event at a time to work on. If you double click on the MIDI clip the detail area will open. Make sure to be in piano roll mode. On the bottom left center there is dropdown list for events and CCs . The ones in a highlighted color are the ones that have been set in...

Re: Horrible latency makes Mixcraft worthless
Yup. Everything works until it doesn't. And when you aren't doing something different it can make you crazy trying to figure out what's going on. I think in the quest to make things easier, users are generally moved so far away from the workings of their devices, that troubleshooting is much harder ...

Re: Copyright Claims using AI - Anyone had any issues??
Hi, I skimmed through it but the basic gist seemed to be that for musical works, copyright ownership is becoming ambiguous, and current laws, at least US laws are not in pace with how creative works are being created and what "pieces" belong to who or what. Is that a fair summary? If you r...

Re: Horrible latency makes Mixcraft worthless
Sorry to hijack the OPs thread but I want to make sure users don't close the door on ASIO4ALL when it can be a solution for their particular situation. ASIO4ALL is a generic ASIO interface. Its generic nature can sometimes make it a bit tricky to tune to one's system specifications. ASIO4ALL is not ...

Re: Mixcraft, UAD Apollo X4, Neural DSP Plugins - ASIO Issues
Hi, One other thing regarding ASIO, I don't know the UAD products but RME have an MMCSS toggle for ASIO. It may not be applicable as there is a "Use High Priority Threads" check box on the sound device preferences page in Mixcraft. But if MMCSS is an option, maybe check it out. Did you try...

Re: Recording midi drums
Hello, It's actually not too hard to separate out MIDI drums to individual tracks. I use a tool called Notemapper in which I assign MIDI drums to specific channels then route those channels to individual tracks. I put together a quick video on the process at the bottom. The general premise is: 1. Cr...

Re: Mixcraft, UAD Apollo X4, Neural DSP Plugins - ASIO Issues
Hi, Are the plugins 32 bit? lockups and things like that are very often related to the plugin. Sometimes it's the DPI compatibility of the plugin. See if this makes any difference: Preferences > Plug-Ins > Plugin Manager > {search for the name of the plugin} Right click on the plugin and make sure &...

Re: Default Recording Device Suddenly Missing
Any updates that may have changed your security settings? Or are you logged in as a different user? Check System > Sound > All Sound Devices > Input Devices and make sure you have some input devices that can record sound. Also if you are talking about a MIDI keyboard, are you trying to record from t...
