You ain't got no rhythm
Just kidding. Try mapping the tap button to a MIDI key. An input device like a mouse may be interfering with your results. Generally when I tap the BPM all falls within 1 or 2 beats up or down - usually at about 8 or 9 taps.

Re: Tap Project Tempo
You can set a tempo by tapping the tap button in time. A single tap doesn't do anything. You have to repeatedly tap it to set a tempo.

Hi,
You could probably still use the ioStation with Mixcraft, right? If it use MIDI mapping or Mackie, you probably can get it to communicate with MC and control what you need.

Re: DCO-106
I just thought of this thread. My buddy recently sent me a file of him singing on "Are Friends Electric" using the music I created in Mixcraft a year ago or so. I'd post it but I get nervous about copyright stuff. At any rate, it reminded me of Cars and the synths I programmed for that usi...

Re: Where are the new Mixcraft 10.5 templates stored?
I haven't updated my MC 10 pro... What is the deal with templates? Are there new MC templates that are included and have the user templates moved to a different folder? My templates are all stored in my projects folder right now. Would the expectation be that when I update to 10.5 my user templates ...

Re: Recording into Mixcraft 8 from Web Browser
Hi, There are a few things to consider. One main thing is the exclusiveness of ASIO. Without jumping through some hoops, ASIO is going to remain exclusive to the software that initiates it. If Mixcraft is using ASIO drivers, Mixcraft controls all the input and output in its own little bubble so to s...

Re: How Important Is Memory?
Hi, Probably the easiest way without having to worry, is to get the exact same 8 gig stick and putting it in the extra slot like you were thinking. If you want to listen to me be a bit of a wind bag, read on. Asus vs Dell isn't as much an issue as the memory type. For example, one consideration woul...

Re: How Important Is Memory?
Hi Trev, I'm curious: had you considered swapping the memory? If the old computer had 32 gigs, the likely configuration is 2 sticks of 16 gigs. If the memory is compatible with your new computer, you could swap it out completely or just put one 16 gig in the new computer and put the 8 gig in the old...

Re: How Important Is Memory?
Hi, I kinda feel 16 gigs is a minimum today in a windows environment. On a fairly low spec computer I have 16 gigs, and I just get by. Partly because of the cpu itself but the memory gets taxed pretty quickly. There are things beyond the program at hand you have to think about with windows memory ma...

Re: Separate a single drumtrack into different tracks
Hello, I don't know what the chain of events were or the VSTs used that led up to a one click separation of drum parts with Studio 1. You don't say if it's MIDI or recorded audio. I'll say this very generally: In Mixcraft a single MIDI file drum track can be split out but it takes some work. Since g...

Re: opening MC9 project in MC10.1
Hello, I believe to have the output show, you need to have at least 1 output bus track in the project. That is regardless of a MC 10 project or loaded MC 9 project into MC 10. The top screenshot has no output bus. The bottom screenshot had one added and then the option appears on the mixer. MC 10 no...

Re: USB Audio input not working correctly
It could be something as simple as a bad USB cable. If the connection seems intermittent, that could be loose internal wires in the cable or some thing shorting. If your PC crashed and you aren't trying to overclock it or undervolt it, it could be a bad hardware/cable connection. Also if your USB au...
