Re: Video Question - Cross Fading

You can have as many effect automation lanes as you want. I had like 25 going in this video, lol:

Hi,

Re: Track comping

One thing that will speed up your comping is to link the clips together, then they will all split at the same time in the same place. If they made them drag together that would accomplish 90% of what the other DAWs do anyway. We shall see! :D Oh, be sure to unlink them before you delete them! -Nathan

Re: Splitting All Tracks at the Same Time

It's been a while since using 6, but you can link all of the tracks together and split them with one click. And then unlink them. I did it on a vid once, will try to find it.

Best,

New Tableau Strings by Orchestral Tools

Hi, I just picked up Tableau Strings last night, absolutely amazing and intuitive to use. There are no automation parameters, everything is controlled via MIDI. It's a 60GB library and runs quite happily in MC9PS. It features solo Violin, Viola, and Cello in both monophonic and polyphonic modes, a t...

Re: New Video: Reverb Ducking

Greg,

I did put in a feature request for a sensitivity control, sometimes I want to move the control further than the dynamic range of the trigger allows, say for gating effects.

Mixcraft Help File Direct Link?

Good morning! I don't remember seeing a direct link to the Mixcraft Help File on Acoustica.com, is there any way this can be made more prominent or introduced if it doesn't exist? This would come in very handy for me when I'm not near a computer and thinking about Mixcraft (lol), and for non-users a...

Re: Automatic plugin management

Hello,

On an unrelated note, is there a categories file we can save a copy of so we don't have to recategorize in the event of a clean install being necessary?

Thanks!

Re: What a difference!

Yep! I have them at ear level, equilateral triangle and all that. Gotta say they are intimidating, it is soooo different from what I'm used to that it's kinda scary. The headphones are like fool's gold, they tickle your ears and make everything seem easy and obvious, not so with the monitors! Just n...

How do you dual?

Good morning,

Well I shelled out a whopping $20 for a matching 22" monitor for my Lenovo AIO (and $40 for the displayport cable grrrr) for some dual screen action.

How do you configure your windows? A giant timeline? Separate mixer?

Re: Drum sounds

Good morning, You might consider pressing ALT-L and creating additional lanes to record your toms and cymbals to separate clips in case you want to change instruments later on. They will still play together of course. What do you mean by wanting more heft? If you compress them with the fastest attac...
