Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
Installed MC9 on May 2nd and ran the reg file just in case. Pianissimo has worked without a hitch until yesterday. For some reason the Trial expiration window appeared again. I ran the reg file again but this keeps reoccurring on a regular basis like something is messing with the registry. I've trie...

Pianissimo VST Keys Don't Play in Cakewalk
Pianissimo produces sound from it's GUI keys in Mixcraft and the standalone as it should. But while it plays a MIDI track just fine in all versions of Sonar/Cakewalk, the GUI keys no longer work. I've checked all the settings and can't find a reason for this. TruePianos works as expected in Sonar/Ca...

Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
OK, After reinstalling Windows 10, I installed Mixcraft 8 but not 9 yet. That might be it but we'll see.

Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
Hi Greg, I got the Pianissimo expired trial warning again (both vsti & standalone) so I ran the file you gave me. It solved the problem but it does keep happening from time to time. I just don't know why.

Re: Standalone Record Buttons Not Showing?
Thanks for confirming Greg. I also use it 99.9% as a plugin, probably why no one noticed for 15 yrs. Sometimes I use the standalone for just playing and only used the recorder a few times, so it's not a big deal.

Standalone Record Buttons Not Showing?
I noticed there are 2 groups of record buttons, 1 for activating record and 1 during recording. The buttons labeled "RecordXXX.png" seem to work fine but once you are recording, the buttons labeled "RecordingXXX.png" do not show. In other words, while recording the button remains...

Maybe I'll keep it as a backup should I have trouble in the future. Thanks.

Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
Here's another odd one. I see I signed in with my old account the last 2 posts. This one failed in 2017 so I made a new one in 2021, which I used to start this thread with. Apparently this one still works so is it possible to merge the two accounts and delete the newer one?

Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
This is new to me also. It's only been happening since my PC went down and had to reinstall Windows 10 and everything on it. If it happens again I'll remove and reinstall Mixcraft.

Re: Pianissimo Keeps Asking To Register...
Happened again and ran the reg file.
For some reason there's an "fa" reg dword value of 0 that keeps switching to 1 causing the warning. Is this because I'm not online for it to phone home? Or does it need to do that?

Re: Pianissimo in Studio One 4
I think Studio One 3 was the last version to support 32 bit plugins. You might be able to use jBridge, etc. to convert it for use in 64 bit DAWs but I can neither confirm nor deny that.

Re: Pianissimo standalone bug...
No idea why that's happening. No idea why no one's responded for almost a year.
I've use Pianissimo for a few years now with an outboard controller and no issues like this.
My log file is currently 33KB.
I have computer "Sleep" turned OFF which may help some of your issues.

Re: Tips to make vocal track fat & punchy?
The easiest way to remove unwanted noises is cut/delete those parts and bounce/weld the remaining clips back together.
Not sure about MC but other DAWS will retain the original clips after editing in the audio folder in case you ever want to reuse them.

Re: Request for scroll bar design change for mixcraft 9
You can edit them manually using a photo editor. Search the mixrez folder for "scroll-bars-xxx.png".
Or you can swap most any MC9 file with MC8 files. MC8 files are in the mixrez/skins/mix8 folder.
Back up or save any originals you change.
