Re: 462 on mixed DPI displays
Hi, thanks for the replies; I don't remember the build number before 462, but I keep it up to date - since version 9 came out, it's had an issue with the multi-monitor set-up so I'm always hoping it's going to be fixed at the next release. Before 462, ISTR the main window would display with very sma...

462 on mixed DPI displays
Hi all, I've just updated to 462 and tried it on my mixed DPI setup - I have 1 high DPI (3840 x 2160) 1 "medium" (2560 x 1440) and 1 regular (1920 x 1080). I've had trouble in the past - with version 8, I used to have the details pane on a different monitor, but that stopped working with v...

Re: Details area issues on multiple monitors
Here's a screen capture showing the problem. The right hand screen has the Details window on - that has been maximised, but it's not covering the whole screen and the top of the window is above the screen, so it can't be moved.

Details area issues on multiple monitors
Hi, I'm getting some problems with Mixcraft 9 (latest version) on multiple monitors. I've previously reported sizing uses when running M9 on a hidpi monitor and trying to have the details on a lower res screen. I've now got two hi-dpi monitors, running on one and putting the details on the other scr...

Re: Using MX9 on mixture of DPI displays
Thanks, I do use the auto-scale option, but it's still safest not to use the HDI monitor.

Using MX9 on mixture of DPI displays
I have one high DPI AIO computer which I've plugged two extra "regular" DPI displays into. MX9 really struggles with this setup; if I start MX9 on the high DPI display then undocking the properties panel makes the properties panel disappear - I have to turn it off and on again to get it to...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
Too late for 9, but for 10 Midi legato - or, at least, stop notes overlapping. I often want to create a vocal or brass score using Musescore, but it does very silly things if the notes overlap even by a millisecond. Conversely, if there's slight gaps between notes, Musescore will add very, very shor...

Producing a score
Hi all, I need to produce a score sheet with lyrics, chord names and a trombone & clarinet part. I don't get paid for doing it(!) so I'm looking for a low cost/free option. Any recommendations? I can produce a midi file with Mixcraft.

Re: Missing audio files?
I just had this; I suspect it was because I'd recorded a rough draft of a song and saved it. Then, next day, I started with a fresh run and saved over the previously saved .mx8 file - when I exited Mixcraft and came back in again, none of the .wav files (6 of them!) were found and I had to re-record...

Re: Themes/Skins? possible?
Hi Mark, thanks for the welcome; it does look pretty odd with blue and yellow but if I can work out how to share it, I'll have a go. Obviously, the best result would be Mixcraft 8.1 having a colour blind friendly skin option.

Re: Themes/Skins? possible?
I know it's a long time; but as a colourblind user, I find the default themes a little hard to use - red and green are very similar colours to me; so I find it difficult to tell if a track is "armed" at a glance - I've changed the icons using Photoshop in the mixrez folder (saving copies f...
