Re: Sooooo Looooooooong !
I'd just like the option to not scan on start up. If I have installed something new I could select "scan for new vst's" and go build a flatpack, decorate a room or dig the garden while Mixcraft is checking 20+ years of accumulated plugins.

Re: Sooooo Looooooooong !
Mulab does not check your VST folders every time it loads and you can drag and drop "new" vst's onto its surface to add them if you want. The load time is a problem here too, I recall Greg telling me I had "a bazillion" plugins after looking at my login file  :D :D . It mig...

Re: Midi Routing
As a visual implementation, the way Mulab/MUX, DDMF, Element (and some others that I cant bring to mind) do it with virtual midi cables on an additional "page", "section" or whatever you want to call it.. Which is then visually easy to see "whats going where" and they c...

Re: Save Every X minutes
I'd like the addition of auto save or auto backup option. I have auto save/backup switched on in my other DAW's ( off the top of my head Samplitude, Reaper, Studio one, Mulab even an ancient version Orion) and have not noticed any problems and if its an user selectable option no one has to use it if...

Re: Can someone help a newbie how to install waves plugins
Please forgive me if you have tried this already and waves plugins can work in mysterious ways at times, but some are quite useful. First, have you run Waves Central to install and activate your waves plugins? If not have a look at waves site where there will be instructions , there some info here h...

Re: Problem with Scaler2
<t>The files in your Documents fold are where Scaler store presets and other file it needs,, the(x86) location is for 32 bit versions of programmes. Scaler 2 is only 64bit vst and vst3 so if you have only one hard drive be expected to be found in ether Local Disk (C)> Program Files > VSTPlugins or f...

Re: Problem with Scaler2
Anyway, do I need both? That's up to you. Some vst's are only being developed as VST3 now though. Have you found where your plugins have been installed? If you have, as Greg mentioned, just point Mixcraft to them, tell it where to look, klick on ,,, File, then select preferences, plugins (in column...

Re: Problem with Scaler2
This probably doesn't help, (but lets you know it can be done), I had no problem installing Scaler 2 where I wanted ,not its default location. Just don't mix up the vst3 and vst2 versions when changing install locations. Vst3 always goes in Program Files> Common Files>VST3, where as VST2 can be inst...

Re: Finding vst3 plugins
I was looking at both plugins that started with G and LM and until this last rescan it did not show, but it is now after a crash, then another rescan that scanned the whole folder. All's well.

Re: Finding vst3 plugins
Hi, VST3 plugins are different in that they all use one of the following folders: \Program Files\Common Files\VST3 \Program Files\Common Files (x86)\VST3 Did you allow it to install there? Greg Yes its in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. It's not an installer, you have to put the contents of dow...

Re: Finding vst3 plugins
How did you get that ? What does, "explicitly add this to the Mixcraft 9" mean ? I've searched fx in Mixcraft as I was going to add it to my mastering favorites folder thingy and I've dragged the plugin onto the interface as I found mixcraft would add a vst2's fine that way, but said somet...

Re: Finding vst3 plugins
Thanks for asking Mark, but Mixcraft 9 by default scans vst3 and is doing so for other plugins. They are all 64 bit (not positive, but I think steinberg hath decreed it so ) . I have another host that is vst2 only , so use metaplugin to use vst3's that only come in that veriant and it see gainmatch ...

Finding vst3 plugins
I'm starting to get new plugins that are only vst3 and I'm having problems with Mixcraft "seeing" them. One I'm trying to load right now is Gainmatch. With vst2 plugins that are not listed I've found I can drag the plugin to Mixcrafts interface and it is then listed, that dosent seem to wo...
