Yeah, I don't know what happened... I browsed some project folders and imported a different WAV file and it worked.
Weird.

Re: Vocal Harmony
Just chipping in to say that I also enjoy my TC-Helicon Harmony G-XT to produce harmonies. Intented for guitar/acoustic guitar mostly, but you can force it to generate harmonies within a specific key, without a guitar needing to produce chords. Pretty neat stuff. It's not perfect like most said, but...

Re: Opening Mixcraft 8 projects in Mixcraft 9
Thanks jlouvar, it seems to be working!
In one project, Mixcraft 9 couldn't load a backing track (.mp3) I had on a track... I re-added it manually, and now the vocals seem off-pitch compared to the original project... weird. I wonder what could have gone wrong here?

Opening Mixcraft 8 projects in Mixcraft 9
Hello guys, I'm in a little bit of a panic here :( I upgraded to Mixcraft 9 a little while ago and never had to re-open an older Mixcraft 8 project. Now I tried opening an older project and I get errors that it cannot find several plug-ins. When I installed Mixcraft 9, I remember not "ticking&q...

"Testing" metronome speed?
Hello guys, Happy new year to all of you musicians using Mixcraft, the DAW for musicians! ;-) I was wondering if it was possible to listen to the metronome to test the correct BPM you wish to use for a song, without using the play/record transport button to listen to the click and see if it works fo...

Re: ARTURIA KEYLAB 49
Hello Amir, i'm not sure you are still visiting this forum, but I have a question for you : You will have to tweak the Arturia to send midi control data through the transport control switches,(which is not too difficult) and it works like a charm. Can you show me how you did that to your Keylab Esse...

Re: Protocol MCU HUI
Does not work properly with Mixcraft 9 :( Hi Olivier :( I didn't make out the time to play with Mixcraft 9 and my Keylab Essential 61 too much, but that's too bad... I thought getting an Arturia MIDI controller in the first place would have made everything simple and fully-working out-of-the-box, b...

Re: Moving volume automation from audio track to it's own lane?
Thanks Greg! Wish I knew that before beginning this whole project but i'll just consider it as a Mixcraft practice... and a lesson learned
Clip automation and track automation are TWO things, peep.
Have a great day!

Moving volume automation from audio track to it's own lane?
Hello, I have a question. Is it possible to move the volume automation work you have done on an audio track to it's own lane, in order to replace the actual audio in the future while keeping the same automation points? Scenario : video clip with people talking to the camera about what they do in the...

Re: Looking for a shimmer effect
Just a quick heads-up, i've been using the OrilRiver VST reverb plug-in and it has been a very satisfying experience. // end of thread //

Looking for a shimmer effect
I have a Hardwire Supernatural reverb guitar pedal that enjoy and was wondering if I could achieve a similar shimmer effect in Mixcraft...? Any tips? I know there are many VST reverbs out there, EOS 2 by AudioDamage and Valhalla being reasonally priced, but I've also seen some people actually "...

Re: Midi foot controller suggestions?
Hi, The FCB1010 is pretty popular and has been around for ages, but it has some quirks that you need to be aware of. You can watch videos for hours on YouTube to learn more about this one. You can alter it's MIDI behavior by adding a different chip in it (UnO, EurekaPROM3...). It's also pretty huge....
