Re: midi controller compatibility - Novation MK3? Akai mk3?

I had the NanoKontrol2 but wanted longer throw faders so I upgraded to the Studio version. Never did get a connect even with two different units. Sent the first back thinking it was defective, the second unit had the same issues. Ironically, I had the World e clone version of the NanoKontrol2 and it...

Re: midi controller compatibility - Novation MK3? Akai mk3?

I used the learn function. My frustration was all the things I wanted to map like scrolling through the VST library without a mouse scroll wheel. The journey was after three different hardware MIDI controller purchases: The Korg Studio NanoKontrol would not talk with Mixcraft. A clone by Worlde boug...

Re: midi controller compatibility - Novation MK3? Akai mk3?

Akai Professional MPK249 works great for me. Faders, knobs and transport, keys and pads, DAW Navigation arrows for scrolling. USB MIDI.
It has been a journey to arrive at something that works flawlessly after some work. I now have a MIXCRAFT profile setup in the MPK! :D

Re: Video Rendering in MX 9 is extremely slow

Yes, Greg. I went both ways with resolution with similar results in rendering. Seemed to be the same speed in completing the render.

Video Rendering in MX 9 is extremely slow

I have a MP4 video of 4:29 in length that is in its 6th hour of rendering and is only 88% complete. Basically, an an 80 MB video file stretched to coincide with the length of the 4:29 audio (which is 100% MIDI VSTi) compressed to mp3 before linking to the stretched video loop in MX 9 Pro Studio. Thi...

Audio renderer error

I just discovered that when I have MC 9 Pro Studio open, no other apps on my laptop can access the sound card and are serving an "Audio renderer error" and a restart. I discovered this while listening to a YouTube video and then opening MC 9. The video immediately dropped sound. In turn, I...

Mixcraft 9 Feedback

I have spent a couple of hours testing the new product, Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, for my needs after upgrading from Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. In most cases, but one, I am comfortable. I am really struggling, however, with the rationale behind changing the position and order of the components of the transp...

I use my Akai LPD8 all the time with Mixcraft 5. No issues at all if you are talking about VSTi drumming.

I have not experienced any problems with the UX1 and XP with ASIO drivers. Line 6 recommends that your internal sound card drivers be disabled when using the Toneport. The Toneport (or in my case UX1) becomes the default sound device for the PC. Probably better for most users as the UX1 sounds much ...

I use the Line 6 UX1 TonePort with excellent results using the ASIO drivers and Windows XP SP2. No problems. Not even a burp.
