A video I did using Mixcraft Pro 7
Did this a year or so ago. Had to convert the video to fit in MX7 (no more conversions needed in MX8) Removed my audio and inserted Daniel Hermans' audio that he was recording for the Chorale CD. I then synced this audio and punched it up a bit. I was pretty pleased with the final result. And again,...

Re: Velocity and volume
Most of what I do requires what I call 'articulation' (velocity) of the particular instrument. One of the things I really like about Mixcraft is that I can setup custom instruments and I can adjust the velocity and position on the keyboard. This allows me to play and articulate 2 or more instruments...

Re: Best methods for quality audio on recording and mixdown
Using 44100 at 24 bits, recording and mixing down to WAV. No issues. No loss in audio quality. If you drop your mixed down WAV into your master you can do A - B comparisons.

Re: Input devices not working
I have the same m-audio device. I do know that a few months back I was using it on my laptop (Windows 10) and Windows did recognize the device. I plugged in a guitar and Mixcraft worked fine. Are you trying to plug in a musical instrument or microphone or both? If you let me know exactly what you ar...

Just listened to Ice Cream 1 and most of your other songs. Nice. Very nice. Have always been a big fan of Jazz and Fusion. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Re: Melodyn 4.2.2 has expired
Just wanted to add... since I suspect you and I are not alone with this issue... I went to the Melodyne site and clicked on 'Register Product'. Logged in and downloaded the newest version. Life is good.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
I'm still learning everything in Mixcraft 8 and the improvements in 8 over 7 fixed a few annoying things. I'd like to see some other partnerships. Perhaps something with Sibelius? I've developed a way of thinking that has me "using the tools I have available" so I'd be cool with anything y...

Re: The Grind
Really like this. I can 'see' where vocals could add to it, but can also 'see' where it would be great instrumental. It has a very uplifting vibe to it and I've always liked R&B rock.

Re: Voltage Nucleus
Thank you jlouvar. It's been a while since I've been on any kind of forum. The learning curve on Voltage Nucleus looks easier than Reaktor blocks. Will check out Cherry Audio site. Danke.

Re: Vochlea Dubler?
It looks.... interesting. Since I don't sing not sure I'd use it. And the cost is a bit much. Will stick to banging stuff out on the keyboard but I can see where it could be useful to some people. I can't keep up with all the music tech stuff.

Re: Voltage Nucleus
Since I don't plan on selling a few body organs to purchase a Hard Modular Synthesizer setup, the Voltage Nucleus is great option. I've been using Reaktor Blocks Base up until now. Will play around with the Voltage Nucleus to see what's what. Thank you for making this available.
