Yes, Greg's right, you can't please everyone. I had a tantrum because my suggestions were not implemented. I'm sorry and I apologize for that. Mixcraft has a lot of good things and too many suggestions to please them all.Guaresneider wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 12:03 am

Re: I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
Most likely you are using a instrument that does not support multichannel outputs. Try doing the same in Kontakt, Sine Player, Discover/LABS, etc. I've tried outputting individual notes on an instrument that didn't have support for multichannel outputs. I also, like you, heard all the notes that I ...

Re: I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
Hi, As depicted in RStudio's video, Mixcraft 10 allows you to set the note color by MIDI channel. You can set the MIDI note's color by the clip's color (the default), the musical note, whether it's in scale or not (no effect when Chromatic is selected or in step or score mode), and by MIDI channel....

Re: I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
Except for one instrument, there's nothing else here. Check this video: https://cryptpad.fr/file/#/2/file/R8CC0K5tcERzlDsa5olfoN2U/ P.S. I haven't tried adding instruments to other midi channels, so I can't say anything about that. The question here is how you will have to route each note separatel...

Re: I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
Why not change the MIDI channel of the notes you don't want to hear to one that isn't in use? MX10 even lets you set the color by MIDI channel to see which ones are on or off. I think what you propose is a good idea. However, I have tried changing the midi channel of some notes, from CH1 to CH2 and...

Re: I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
Just curious. Why the need to mute selected notes? I can't think of a reason I would do that. Hi, this is copied from the Logic Manual on Mute Notes: “You can mute individual notes in the Piano Roll Editor, letting you experiment with different note choices in a melody, or different chord voicings,...

I don't update to version 10 and I'm leaving Mixcraft.
I find it hard to believe that in 2023 there could be any prestigious professional DAW that still don't have the option to mute individual Midi notes. Acoustica has every right to think it's not important, I accept that, and I have every right to find a solution, as I have. We have a major discrepan...

Mixcraft 10 and muting notes
Hi, I have downloaded Mixcraft 10 Recording Studio to test.
I have not seen the possibility of muting notes in the midi editor.
Is it so?
Is it the same in Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio?
Thank you.

Re: Mixcraft 10 not recognizing plugins
Hello, I have done the test and it has worked for me, when you choose drive, (Preferences-Plug-ins-Edit VST/VSTi Folders and then "Add") do not choose drive E: but choose a folder on this drive and it will accept it.

Re: Mixcraft Vs Other DAWS
I always drag the notes velocity to zero for the notes I don't want to hear, but sometimes, depending on the instrument and plugin, you'll still hear them. Yes, must be a sound that is not affected by volume changes, still will hear it even if the volume is set to zero. And if it's a sound that res...

Re: Mixcraft Vs Other DAWS
When you come from Mixcraft, all the other DAW's seem more complicated. I have tried many DAW's, some very famous, and they have many features, many utilities, but in my opinion they do not have the order, clarity and ease of use of Mixcraft. Although they also have tools which for me are basics and...

Re: How to stop "note properties" pop-up window in piano roll.
Hello, this doesn't happen to me. When I click on a note, it is simply shaded. The black window only appears if I double click on the note. (Or right click + note properties, of course)

Thanks.

Fade out in a Midi clip
Hi! I have done a fade out in a clip, but when playing back, not only did it fade out the clip but it also faded out another clip that was on the same track, whose sound also dissapeared. Is like fade out the track instead of just the clip. So I wanted to know if it is possible to fade in/out in onl...
